The design and improvement on bottom-discharge hopper barge

Several in common use types of transfer and dump boat are introduced. The emphasis is put on the analysis on the strained condition while bottom discharge hopper barge dumping. It is discussed that the dumping performance depends on the parameters of hopper barge and also the characteristics of soil. According to this viewpoint, technical improvement on a bottom discharge hopper barge was carried through successfully.
