| Abstract: | It is very important for the large sized container ship to berth parallel for the terminal and equipments. This paper analyzed various factors the ship bored causes deflection. It introduces reasonable application of the turning moment given by the wind and current, puts forward 3 key points for parallel berthing. At last it introduces the berthing methods of the large sized container ship in the gale and rough sea and some cautions which should be paid attention to, which could be referenced . |
