Abstract:Reactive power compensation is an important part of ports electric system. The difination of reactive power compensation in given. Huanghua Port's electric system, status and existed problems of reactive power compensation are analyzed. The suitable compensation style and compensation point are introduced in detail. The optimization of reactive power compensation of 6kV electric system is analyzed emphatically.
