摘    要:通过试验分析和仿真计算来研究脉冲太赫兹波在船舶有机防护涂层的传播特性。采用太赫兹脉冲成像系统的反射模式对不同结构的涂层样品进行试验检测,同时采用有限时域差分法进行仿真计算,为船舶涂层的太赫兹无损检测和评估提供理论支撑。结合脉冲响应函数,给出了多层结构涂层厚度无损定量评估的方案,并对试验信号和仿真结果进行处理。结果表明,太赫兹脉冲检测能够达到满意的检测精度,具有较强的涂层厚度定量分析能力。

Abstract:This paper carried out experimental analysis and simulation research on terahertz nondestructive detection of marine protective coatings, as well as its quantitative evaluation of coating thickness. The samples with different coating structures were investigated using terahertz pulse imaging(TPI) system in reflection mode, while the propagation of terahertz radiation in marine protective coatings was calculated based on Finite-difference time-domain method, which would provide more theoretical theory for experimental analysis. Both the experimental and simulated TPI signals were recorded for quantitative characterisation of coating thickness by frequency-domain deconvolution process. The results showed that TPI technology can accurately quantify the coating thickness and would benefit the terahertz nondestructive testing and evaluation of marine protective coating structure.
