摘    要:该文基于圆管碰撞能量吸收原理,提出了一种新型LPG船舷侧耐撞结构,经与常规LPG船舷侧结构的比较表明,此新型舷侧结构具有良好的耐撞性能。

Abstract:Based on collision energy absorbing capacity of circular tubes,a concept of advanced crashworthy side structure for LPG carrier is presented in this paper.Through a comparative study carried out on collision resistance of the proposed side structure with standard single hull structure of 22,000m 3 ethylene gas carrier it is concluded that the new proposed structure has much larger collision resistance capacity and much better crashworthiness index.As far as LPG carrier is concerned,the new design concept of side structure for single hull is practicable and feasible.
