| Abstract: | In this paper, based on the problem of stern structure vibration that occurred on some medium speed crafts, vibration response characteristics of stern structure is analyzed, and a finite element model of the structure for computing its response to vibration is developed. Some design measures that can effectively reduce stern structure vibration of medium speed craft are proposed. |
