Review of modal identiifcation of ship structure based on ambient excitation

Based on the theory of modal analysis, this paper summarizes the modal identification methods under ambient excitation, and discusses fundamental concepts and the advantages and disadvantages of these methods. It especially introduces the modal parameter identification of ship structure under the ship sailing condition and hotissues about its domestic researches, which provide beneficial references for the relevant researchers.
