Design of 12 500 t Heavy Crane Open-Top Multi-Purpose Ship

Based on the open-top multi-purpose rules, the general arrangement, stability and strength of open-top state, damage stability, open-top seakeeping model test, bilges system, and energy conservation and environmental protection measures are studied. A 12 500 t heavy crane open-top multi-purpose ship is designed, which meets the requirements of the rules and environmental protection. The type of ship is equipped with the heavy crane, is of the characteristics of long cargo hold, large deck area, and two floors of second deck, is suitable for the transportation of long and lengthy cargo and super high cargo, and can transport the conventional cargoes. The type of ship is of reference significance in the development of multi-purpose ships with the large openings, heavy cranes, and open-top navigation.
