Rudder cavitation causes serious damage to the rudder and affects the safety and cost-effectiveness of a ship. In recent applications,
a semicircular prismatic bar protruding beyond the concave surface of the horn facing the gap, located along the center-plane
of the rudder, has been used to lessen the gap flow between the horn and the movable portion of the rudder system. Previous
numerical studies with this single bar indicate that it can noticeably reduce rudder cavitation. In the present study, a pair
of bars for blocking the vertical gaps, which are attached symmetrically to the center-plane on opposite convex surfaces of
the movable portion, is suggested for circumventing the difficulties that arise in the practical application of single centre
bars. Placed near the outer edges of the gap, the bars are are easily accessible at the maximum rudder angle to allow simple
installation during routine ship maintenance. An additional blocking disk is inserted on top of the pintle block, blocking
the horizontal gaps. Three-dimensional computations are conducted with these combined devices and the results show that the
devices are remarkably efficacious in reducing rudder gap cavitation. 相似文献

The flow around the gap of a semi-spade rudder was simulated as part of an effort to minimize gap cavitation. Simulations
were performed for various devices aimed at controlling the gap flow in two-dimensional and three-dimensional domains using
the Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes equations. A significant difference in the pressure field near the gap in two- and three-dimensional
computations was found. In particular, the pressure field of the gap, where the local flow is dominant, and that of the main
flow from the propeller were compared. Finally, a remedy for the gap cavitation that occurs between the horn and the rudder

利用FLUENT 6.0流体动力学计算软件对轴对称回转体的自然空化现象进行了数值模拟,得到了不同头型和不同空化数下的回转体周围空泡绕流流场和体积分数分布.计算结果与其他研究人员的计算与试验结果比较吻合,说明利用FLUENT 6.0软件可以较好地模拟空泡绕流现象,能够正确反映空泡外形随空化数变化的规律,并且能够较准确地捕捉到空泡尾端回射流现象. 相似文献

由于喷水推进船良好的快速性、机动性、高效率和低噪声,喷水推进技术在现代舰船上的应用越来越广泛.但喷水推进器在运行过程中容易进入空化区,影响其推进性能和使用寿命.建立空化监测系统是目前解决这一问题最有效的方法.喷水推进器的空化特性同螺旋桨的有较大差异,目前尚未进行深入的研究.本文分析了喷水推进器的空化特性,阐述了其空化监测的机理,建立了空化监测系统,对喷水推进器空化监测技术进行了研究.空化监测的关键在于选择合适的空化监测参数,选取适当的测量位置,以及采用有效的信号分析处理方法来进行空化特征的提取. 相似文献

The effects of cupping on a 0.7 radius foil section with a maximum thickness ratio of 3.5% of the Gawn-Burrill propeller series
were studied both numerically and experimentally. A cupped foil increases its lift as a result of the induced camber by the
cup, as the numerical results demonstrate. Also, the minimum pressure location of cupped foil moves from midchord to the cupped
position near the trailing edge when the foil is in shock-free entrance. The calculated results and the tests confirm that
cupped foil increases lift and may improve the cavitation performance of an underpitched propeller. 相似文献

现代潜艇尾操纵面建筑形式主要选择十字舵与X舵,这2种形式的舵各有其优缺点.在以往关于这2种舵形潜艇操纵性水动力的研究中,有研究者通过编制潜艇六自由度运动仿真程序,对十字舵与X舵在水平面和垂直面的水动力性能进行了综合比较,得出X舵的水动力性能优于十字舵.本文以十字舵和X舵Suboff为研究对象,通过CFD数值方法模拟了潜艇直航运动和垂直面变攻角运动这2种具有典型代表意义的运动情况,分别计算了2种舵形潜艇的操纵性水动力,通过分析计算结果,定量地比较了在舵面积相等的情况下十字舵与X舵潜艇的水动力性能,得出与编程仿真相同的结论:X舵的水动力性能优于十字舵. 相似文献

本文基于雷诺平均模拟方程(RANS方程),采用均相流空化模型和RNG k-ε湍流模型,对螺旋桨叶截面非定常空泡流动进行数值模拟。对局部层状空泡从初生、发展、断裂以及在下游高压区溃灭的周期性过程进行仿真,并将仿真结果与实验现象进行对比,对各个阶段的空化面积和空化程度进行数值统计分析。结果表明:在螺旋桨叶截面周期性云状空化流场中,90%以上高度空化区域和30%以下低度空化区域的面积变化显著,而其他空化程度的区域面积基本稳定。 相似文献

Sound pressure distribution around a monotone sound source was measured inside a marine propeller cavitation tunnel and compared
with the calculated result by a two-dimensional boundary element method. The measured sound pressure distribution showed some
peaks due to the reflection effect of the tunnel test section boundary. As the frequency increased, the sound pressure distribution
became more complicated, showing more peaks. The tunnel reverberant effect should be taken into account when the noise data
measured in the tunnel are converted into full-scale values. In the boundary element method calculation, the boundary condition
at the acrylic observation window of the tunnel was examined in detail. The calculated sound pressure distribution pattern
in the tunnel transverse section agreed well with the measured distribution when a reasonable boundary condition was adopted.
The boundary element method is an effective method for theoretically predicting the acoustic field inside the cavitation tunnel
if the precise boundary condition is adopted. 相似文献

船舶操纵性主要通过性能优良的舵保证.研究开发性能优良的舵型,改善舵的水动力性能,对提高船舶操纵性十分重要.通过研究,本文提出一种新型实用的直尾舵,它是在普通流线型舵的后缘加装一块平直的尾板而成,称之为直尾板.基于CFD软件Fluent计算了舵球舵、制流板舵、鱼尾舵和直尾舵的水动力性能系数,并对比分析了直尾舵的水动力性能优缺点.相比舵球舵和制流板舵,直尾舵的正车水动力性能有较大幅度的提高,比鱼尾舵的水动力性能略差.但是,直尾舵的倒车性能优于鱼尾舵和制流板舵.因此,直尾舵属于正车、倒车水动力综合性能最好的组合舵. 相似文献

文章在均质平衡多相流模型的基础上耦合输运方程型空化模型,通过求解混合介质的RANS方程、RNG k-ε湍流输运方程以及各相的质量输运方程,采用通用CFD软件—FLUENT数值模拟了水洞中带圆盘空化器航行体模型的定常通气空泡流动,研究了圆形截面闭式空泡水洞中洞壁效应对通气空化数和压力场的影响。得到的阻塞空化数线性正比于圆盘水洞直径比,且与三维圆盘自然空泡流的势流近似解基本一致,分析了洞壁效应作用下空化流场内的压力分布特点,并根据计算结果拟合了一定适用条件下通气空泡长度、最大直径和模型阻力系数的近似公式。 相似文献
