Study of algorithms of new slender ship theory of wave resistance   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In this paper, Noblesse‘s New Slender-Ship Wave-Making Theory was investigated numerically. Detailed expressions of zeroth and 1st order wave resistance have been derived and calculation programs have also been compiled. In the single and double integral terms of Green function, the kernel function of wave resistance expression, special function expansion method and Chebyshev polynomials approach have been adopted respectively, which greatly simplify the calculation and increase the convergence speed.  相似文献

Numerical simulation of the anti-shock performance of a gear case   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Both sea battles and testing of ship in underwater explosions reveal unacceptably poor anti-shock performance of important shipboard equipment. Anti-shock performance of shipboard equipment is a significant factor determining fighting strength and survivability. The anti-shock performance of a shipboard gear case based on BV043/85 was investigated using numerical simulation. A geometric model of the gear case was built using MDT software and meshed in HyperMesh software, and then the finite element model of the gear case was formed. Using ABAQUS software, the anti-shock performance of the gear case was simulated. First, shock response of typical regions of gear case was determined. Next, some generalizations were made about the anti-shock performance of the gear case by analyzing the Mises stress of typical regions varied with shock inputs. Third, weak regions were determined from simulation results. The threshold values of shock resistance of the gear case at different impulse widths were obtained through interpolating the numerical simulation results selected from the most dangerous spot. This research provides a basis for further optimization of the design of gear cases.  相似文献

In the present study an attempt has been made toinvestigate the relationship between the variations in the foulingassemblage and corrosion behaviour of HSLA steel at three coastallocations in the Gulf of Marmar, India, over a period of 24 months.Oyster fouling was dominant in the Tuticorin open sea, whilebarnacles were the major foulants in the Tuticorin harbour andMandapam. The fouling load in the Tuticorin waters was higherwhen compared to the Mandapam waters. The corrosion ratesdecreased progressively with the immersion time at all three testlocations. In the Tuticorin open sea, the corrosion rates were higherwhen compared to the other two locations throughout the studyperiod. The surface of the coupons was characterized by crevicesbeneath the hard foulers in the Tuticorin harbour and Mandapam,whereas in the Tuticorin open sea, the coupons experiencedcrevices of a tunneling nature. The percentage of the loss of thetensile strength increased with time at all the test locations.  相似文献

The bow structure of FPSO moored by the single mooting system is rather complicated. There are many potential hot spots in connection parts of structures between the mooting support frame and the forecastle. Mooting forces, which are induced by wave excitation and transferred by the YOKE and the mooting support frame, may cause fatigue damage to the bow structure. Different from direct wave-induced-forces, the mooting force consists of wave frequency force (WF) and 2nd draft low frequency force (LF) , which are represented by two sets of short-term distribution respectively. Based on two sets of short-term distribution of mooting forces obtained by the model test, the fatigue damage of the bow structure of FPSO is analyzed, with emphasis on two points. One is the procedure and position selection for fatigue check, and the other is the application of new formulae for the calculation of accumulative fatigue damage caused by two sets of short-term distribution of hot spot stress range. From the results distinguished features of fatigue damage to the FPSOs bow structure can be observed.  相似文献

The rate of flow of the gas flowing through cirque chink often needs calculation in engineering. The characters of compressibility and thermodynamics have some effect on the gas flowing, so the analysis on the flow of gas is more complex than that of liquid. But under different conditions and different I'equirements of precision the analysis can be simplified suitably, then make the formulae given become simple subsequently. This paper analyzes various gas flux based on basic characters and motion laws of gas and the analysis is just applied in an engineering project.  相似文献

In this paper we show thc method of energy in part with which we can get the model of random wave,and predict theroll motion of unstabilized ship and stabilized ship using the wave model.The control parameters of fin stabilizer are determinedaccording to the performance index. The simulation of the system is also made in this paper. [Objective]This study aims to explore the law of the critical compression stress of stiffened panels under the influence of in-plane shear load, and whether in-plane shear load combined with lateral pressure will introduce a strong coupling effect. [Method ] To this end, nonlinear finite element (FE) software ABAQUS is used to perform numerical simulation analysis under combined loads on a group of FE models. A limit state equation/curve is then derived from the dimensionless calculation results based on the minimum square error method. [Results]The results show that the influence law of in-plane shear load on the critical compression stress of stiffened panels is clarified, and a limit state equation of stiffened panels that considers the effect of shear load is obtained. [Conclusion]The limit state equation in this paper can provide references for modifying the ultimate strength of stiffened panels under the influence of in-plane shear load. © 2023 Chinese Journal of Ship Research. A series of 2D model tests were conducted to assess the foundation stability of composite vertical breakwaters. In this paper, the results from the experimental study are presented conjointly with a formula to estimate the stability number of foundation, which is the most important parameter for evaluation of foundation stability of such structures. The influences of wave height, wave period and the berm width on the stability of composite breakwaters with different armor stone sizes were investigated. Forty-five tests were performed to cover the influences of these parameters. According to the present research, berm width is a significant parameter concerning erosion of armor foundation. As the berm width increases, the amount of berm erosion decreases. Comparisons are made between results of present study and the estimated stability number proposed by Kimura et al.(1994), which is extension of Tanimoto formula. Results show that the later formula underestimates the stability number. However, by applying an enhancement factor about 1.7 meters to Kimura et al. formula, results correlated with the present experimental results..  相似文献

The finite element method was employed to solve the N-S equation.Incorporated with the vibration equa- tion,the vortex-induced vibration of the circular cylinder is studied by an Arbitrary-Lagrangian-Eulerian(ALE)al- gorithm.The Reynolds number based on the cylinder diameter and the undisturbed flow velocity ranges from 90 to 150. The motion of the cylinder was modeled by a spring-damper-mass system.The numerical model has been validated by comparison with the experimental data in literature.The"lock-in"and"beating"phenomena were successfully repro- duced in the numerical test.  相似文献

The starting characteristics of thermodynamic undersea vehicle systems are determined by the geometry, size and combustion area of solid propellants, which directly effect liquid propellant pipeline design. It is necessary to establish accurate burning models for solid propellants. Based on combustion models using powder rings and two different solid ignition grains, namely star-shaped ignition grains and stuffed ignition grains, a mathematic model of the ignition process of the propulsion system was built. With the help of Matlab, a series of calculations were made to determine the effects of different grains on ignition characteristics. The results show that stuffed ignition grain is best suited to be the ignition grain of a thermodynamic undersea vehicle system.  相似文献

It is an important control process to operate motion of an submergence rescue vehicle(SRV). Seeing that the motion of the submergence rescue vehicle is special, it is necessary to employ non-linear predictive control system. For this reason, continuous dynamic performance of the system, the logical components and the operative restraints are expressed as the non-linear equations of state with the inequality restraints, and the model principle of hybrid system is introduced. The conclusion shows that it comes true to exactly control position and attitude of the SRV by means of non-linear model predictive control. The test in a model basin has also proved that the above methods are efficient.  相似文献

Loads generated after an air crash, ship collision, and other accidents may destroy very large floating structures(VLFSs) and create additional connector loads. In this study, the combined effects of ship collision and wave loads are considered to establish motion differential equations for a multi-body VLFS. A time domain calculation method is proposed to calculate the connector load of the VLFS in waves. The Longuet–Higgins model is employed to simulate the stochastic wave load. Fluid force and hydrodynamic coefficient are obtained with DNV Sesam software. The motion differential equation is calculated by applying the time domain method when the frequency domain hydrodynamic coefficient is converted into the memory function of the motion differential equation of the time domain. As a result of the combined action of wave and impact loads, high-frequency oscillation is observed in the time history curve of the connector load. At wave directions of 0° and 75°, the regularities of the time history curves of the connector loads in different directions are similar and the connector loads of C1 and C2 in the X direction are the largest. The oscillation load is observed in the connector in the Y direction at a wave direction of 75° and not at 0°. This paper presents a time domain calculation method of connector load to provide a certain reference function for the future development of Chinese VLFS  相似文献

[Objectives] As a new type of pressure-resistant structure, the titanium alloy sandwich cylindrical shell has not yet been studied comprehensively. The topology of the core layer needs to be confirmed using the optimization method. This paper carries out the core topology optimization of titanium alloy pressure-resistant sandwich cylindrical shells.[methods]An unreinforced cylindrical shell with high thickness is selected as the analysis object, and the axisymmetric element is used to calculate the structural stresses via ANSYS. The cylindrical shell is divided into the upper, middle and lower regions along the thickness direction. The structures of the middle region are set as the design variables, and a two-stage topology optimization mathematical model of its core structure is proposed. Based on Matlab, the main control program of the genetic algorithm is established to carry out the core layout optimization of the unreinforced cylindrical shell along the axial direction only and both the axial direction and radial direction respectively.[results]The optimal core topological form consists of equidistant ribs connecting the inner shell and outer shell vertically.[Conclusions]A sandwich cylindrical shell under hydrostatic pressure is a reasonable pressure-resistant structure. © 2023 Authors. [Objectives] Infrared radiative (IR) characteristics of the plume are the main part of ship infrared radiation. The influence analysis of exhaust parameters on radiative characteristics is very important for developing ship stealth and anti-stealth technology. [Methods]In this work, the line-by-line method is applied to solve radiative transfer in gaseous media. Infrared radiative images of plumes under different temperatures and flow rates are obtained. Radiance, spectral radiative intensity, and spectrum-integrated radiative intensity over 3−5 µm are calculated and analyzed. [Results]Results show that there are obvious peaks of spectral radiative intensity curves at 4.18µm and 4.43 µm, and an obvious valley at 4.26 µm. [Conclusions] The infrared radiation characteristics of the ships exhaust plume are greatly affected by the exhaust temperature, but less affected by the exhaust flow rate. © 2023 The Author(s).  相似文献

[Objectives]Electromagnetic pulse can seriously affect and even destroy naval shipborne electronic information systems, weapons, equipment and so on. Due to the complexity of the antenna port load circuit, it is necessary to formulate a numerical method which can easily obtain the antenna load current. [Methods]The induced current of the terminal is obtained on the basis of the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) and Holland model. According to the Thévenin equivalent circuit, the conductor is equivalent to the voltage source to realize decoupling between the conductor and load end, and the load circuit is solved using Simulink software.[Results]Compared with the traditional terminal model, this method is simple and feasible for high-order circuit processing. The effectiveness of the model is verified using non-linear elements and parallel capacitors and resistors as the load respectively. The results show that the calculation results of this method are consistent with those of the traditional methods. Finally, the antenna of the end-connected protect- or is calculated. The results show that the lead inductance caused by the installation of the protector is an important factor affecting the protection performance.[Conclusions]The method proposed in this paper can greatly reduce the simulation complexity of the coupling current of an antenna with a complex load, giving it useful reference value for the field of ship electromagnetic pulse protection design. © 2023 Editorial Department of Chinese Journal of Ship Research. The added mass coefficient and the water level indexformulas for the same-phase and anti-phase vibration of rectangularliquid tanks' bulkheads were derived based on dry mode theory.Three fluid-structure interaction numerical methods including FluidFEM and Fluid BEM were used in this case. The comparison ofnumerical and theoretical results by the present method shows thatANSYS/FluidS0 is more credible, the NASTRAN/Virtual MassMethod is more suitable for engineering calculations and results ofthe same-phase vibration by the present method is more accurate.  相似文献
