The nanocrystalline γ - ( Fe, Ni) alloy whiskers have been prepared by chemical reduction of Fe 2+ and Ni 2+ ions with potassium borohydride under the function of a dispersant agent PE followed by heat treatment at 600℃ under the protection of nitrogen . Conditions, such as quantity of NaOH, concentration of salts, and species of surfactants, of preparation of Fe - Ni alloy have been discussed. X-ray diffraction ( XRD) , transmission electron microscopy ( TEM ) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) characterized the synthesized Fe-Ni alloy. A series of tests was performed with three-point single-edge-notched-bend (SENB) specimens in a condenser material (Titanium alloy). Results show that the J-integral values of welded joint and HAZ are obviously smaller than those of the base metal. It signifies that the welding process can result in a reduced toughness of Titanium alloy and the effect of crack orientation on toughness value is not negligible for engineering applications. Besides, the J-integral values of L-T direction specimens are much higher than those of LS ones. The J-integral values of rolled ring are: J_(C-R)>J_(C-L)>J_(L-R).  相似文献

The effects of the temperature,salinity,and fluid type on the acoustic characteristics of turbulent flow around a circular cylinder were numerically investigated for the Reynolds numbers of 2.25 × 10~4,4.5 × 10~4,and 9.0 × 10~4.Various hybrid methodsReynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes(BANS) with the Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings(FWH) model,detached-eddy simulation(DES) with FWH,and large-eddy simulation with FWH-were used for the acoustic analyses,and their performances were evaluated by comparing the predicted results with the experimental data.The DES-FWH hybrid method was found to be suitable for the aero-and hydro-acoustic analysis.The hydro-acoustic measurements were performed in a silent circulation channel for the Reynolds number of 2.25 × 10~4.The results showed that the fluid temperature caused an increase in the overall sound pressure levels(OASPLs) and the maximum sound pressure levels(SPL T) for the air medium;however,it caused a decrease for the water medium.The salinity had smaller effects on the OASPL and SPLT compared to the temperature.Moreover,the main peak frequency increased with the air temperature but decreased with the water temperature,and it was nearly constant with the change in the salinity ratio.The SPLT and OASPL for the water medium were quite higher than those for the air medium.  相似文献

On March 26,2010 an underwater explosion(UWE)led to the sinking of the ROKS Cheonan.The official Multinational Civilian-Military Joint Investigation Group(MCMJIG)report concluded that the cause of the underwater explosion was a 250 kg net explosive weight(NEW)detonation at a depth of 6 9 m from a DPRK"CHT-02D"torpedo.Kim and Gitterman(2012a)determined the NEW and seismic magnitude as 136 kg at a depth of approximately 8m and 2.04,respectively using basic hydrodynamics based on theoretical and experimental methods as well as spectral analysis and seismic methods.The purpose of this study was to clarify the cause of the UWE via more detailed methods using bubble dynamics and simulation of propellers as well as forensic seismology.Regarding the observed bubble pulse period of 0.990 s,0.976 s and 1.030 s were found in case of a 136NEW at a detonation depth of 8 m using the boundary element method(BEM)and 3D bubble shape simulations derived for a 136kg NEW detonation at a depth of 8 m approximately 5 m portside from the hull centerline.Here we show through analytical equations,models and 3D bubble shape simulations that the most probable cause of this underwater explosion was a 136 kg NEW detonation at a depth of 8m attributable to a ROK littoral"land control"mine(LCM).  相似文献

Fracture processes in ship-building structures are in many cases of a 3-D character.A finite element (FE) model of an all fracture mode (AFM) specimen was built for the study of 3-D mixed mode crack fracture behavior including modes I,II,and III.The stress intensity factors (SIFs) were calculated by the modified virtual crack closure integral (MVCCI) method,and the crack initiation angle assessment was based on a recently developed 3-D fracture criterion––the Richard criterion.It was shown that the FE model of the AFM-specimen is applicable for investigations under general mixed mode loading conditions,and the computational results of crack initiation angles are in agreement with some available experimental findings.Thus,the applicability of the FE model of the AFM-specimen for mixed mode loading conditions and the validity of the Richard criterion can be demonstrated.  相似文献

Risk analysis of key systems have become a growing topic late of because of the development of offshore structures. Equipment failures of offloading system and fire accidents were analyzed based on the floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) features. Fault tree analysis (FTA), and failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) methods were examined based on information already researched on modules of relex reliability studio (RRS). Equipment failures were also analyzed qualitatively by establishing a fault tree and Boolean structure function based on the shortage of failure cases, statistical data, and risk control measures examined. Failure modes of fire accident were classified according to the different areas of fire occurrences during the FMEA process, using risk priority number (RPN) methods to evaluate their severity rank. The qualitative analysis of FTA gave the basic insight of forming the failure modes of FPSO offloading, and the fire FMEA gave the priorities and suggested processes. The research has practical importance for the security analysis problems of FPSO.  相似文献

[Objectives]As composite materials have varied internal structures, an in-depth analysis of the damage mechanisms of their component materials can provide a research foundation for the ultimate strength analysis of composite stiffened panels. [Methods]The microscopic, mesoscopic and macroscopic mechanical analyses of marine glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) composite stiffened panels are carried out using a multi-scale approach. Microscopic and mesoscopic representative volume element (RVE) models of chopped strand mat (CSM) and woven roving (WR) materials are established, and the macroscopic equivalent stiffness is obtained by homogenizing the RVE models. The ABAQUS VUMAT subroutine is used to code the progressive damage evolution model of the composite materials to derive the damage evolution mechanism of the microscopic and mesoscopic models respectively. The equivalent strength of macroscopic laminates is also obtained. [Results]The multi-scale approach can be used to accurately evaluate the macroscopic mechanical properties of composite materials, and the ultimate strength of composite stiffened panels is mainly determined by fiber bundle failure. [Conclusions]The obtained macroscopic material parameters can be used to calculate the ultimate strength of composite stiffened panels, while the parametric study of the mesomechanics of composite materials can provide an analysis tool for investigating the influence of material processing technology. © 2023 Chinese Journal of Ship Research. Because of its light weight,broadband,and adaptable properties,smart material has been widely applied in the active vibration control(AVC) of flexible structures.Based on a first-order shear deformation theory,by coupling the electrical and mechanical operation,a 4-node quadrilateral piezoelectric composite element with 24 degrees of freedom for generalized displacements and one electrical potential degree of freedom per piezoelectric layer was derived.Dynamic characteristics of a beam with discontinuously distributed piezoelectric sensors and actuators were presented.A linear quadratic regulator(LQR) feedback controller was designed to suppress the vibration of the beam in the state space using the high precise direct(HPD) integration method.  相似文献

In this study, the passage of waves through pile groups with different arrangements is investigated using a three-dimensional(3D)numerical model. For the simulations, waves of three different heights of 36, 58, and 81 mm, a fixed period of 0.88s, and a fixed wave length of 1.128 m were used. To simulate the waves and flow pattern through the piles, Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes(RANS) equations of fluid motion were solved based on the finite volume method(FVM). Piles were defined as obstacles in the rectangular domain using the fractional area/volume obstacle representation(FAVOR) method. The volume-of-fluid(VOF) and re-normalization group(RNG) methods were used to simulate the free surface and turbulence phenomenon, respectively. By performing different numerical simulations, the effect of coastal pile arrangements on wave pattern was studied and was compared with existing experimental data, and an acceptable agreement was achieved.  相似文献

Temporal fluctuations in vertical thermocline structure and depth span(on a time scale of 30 to 40 min) are shown to affect the arrival angle, and focusing of measured broadband(22–28 kH z) non-surface-interacting acoustic signals at a depth of ~100 m. Measurements were taken in the Pacific Missile Range Facility near Kauai island, Hawaii, for a source-receiver range of 1.0 km. The arrival time and angular spread of acoustic beams are obtained for measured signals using a plane wave beamformer with a-prior gaussian weighting.The weighting process reduces ambiguity in angular measurements due to spatial aliasing from a vertical array with element spacing d much greater than half the acoustic wavelength(λ_a/2) of the highest frequency in the broadband signal. Over two full periods of thermocline oscillation, 2 times of high and 2 times of low isotherm depth are selected to show fluctuations in angular beam spreading,focusing, and the robustness of the weighted beamformer routine. To benchmark the performance of the weighted beamformer, a twodimensional(2D) Parabolic Equation(PE) model calculates the angular signal spread and focusing using parameters to satisfy spatial sampling requirements for broadband beamforming. In the absence of spatial aliasing, beamforming the output of the 2D PE can be conducted without weighting. Comparison of measured and modeled results shows less than a degree of difference in the angularà beam spread of direct, bottom reflected, and refracted paths. It is shown that a vertical array with d?(λ_a/2) and gaussian weighting can resolve changes in angular spread and beam focusing as a function of vertical isotherm displacement.  相似文献

This paper describes the characteristics of liquefied natural gas(LNG) carriers briefly. The LNG carrier includes power plant selection, vapor treatment, liquid cargo tank type, etc. Two parameters—fuel substitution rate and recovery of boil of gas(BOG) volume to energy efficiency design index(EEDI) formula are added, and EEDI formula of LNG carriers is established based on ship EEDI formula. Then, based on steam turbine propulsion device of LNG carriers, mathematical models of LNG carriers' reference line value are established in this paper. By verification, the EEDI formula of LNG carriers described in this paper can provide a reference for LNG carrier EEDI calculation and green shipbuilding.  相似文献

This paper researches how to apply the advanced control technology of model predictive control(MPC) to the design of the dynamic positioning system(DPS) of a semi-submersible platform.First,a linear low-frequency motion model with three degrees of freedom was established in the context of a semi-submersible platform.Second,a model predictive controller was designed based on a model which took the constraints of the system into account.Third,simulation was carried out to demonstrate the feasibility of the controller.The results show that the model predictive controller has good performance and good at dealing with the constraints of the system.  相似文献
