Shanghai GM recently announced in Xiamen city that she will introduce a Chevrolet brand sedan AVEO into the China’s market. Then, three trims are available, i.e. SE 1.4L/MT, SE 1.4L/AT and SX 1.4L/AT, with prices of US$ 10,353, 11,573 and 12,549 respectively. Maker concerns From Jan.-Sept. this year, Dongfeng Automotive Company (DFAC) produced 193,000 units of vehicles and sold 198,000 units, 14.66% and 17.92% up respectively year. on year. On Nov.20, Sail S-RV leisure car, developed by Shanghai GM, made its debut on the market. The car is equipped with SCX ( 5-speed manual ) and SCX AT (4-speed auto) with the prices of RMB 122,500 yuan

Car market: consumers have more reason to be unhappy

Recently, a look at the market has shown the long-awaited price reduction of cars has begun. SIMULATION TESTS INITIATE PASSIVE SAFETY STUDY

Two simulation crash tests were carried out in Tianjin and Shanghai respectively with a domestically developed setup and a imported system. Both are for their first time in China. Through more than 3 year's efforts and with the assistance of UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) Beijing, CATARC has established its simulation crash test setup for auto components. This setup is the first such kind of equipment developed in China, and it consists of catapult, energy absorption system, measurement system, high-speed camera, film analysis system, TNO-10 Dummy and HybridⅡ Dummy.
