The scattering problem involving water waves by small undulation on the porous ocean-bed in a two-layer fluid,is investigated within the framework of the two-dimensional linear water wave theory where the upper layer is covered by a thin uniform sheet of ice modeled as a thin elastic plate.In such a two-layer fluid there exist waves with two different modes,one with a lower wave number propagate along the ice-cover whilst those with a higher wave number propagate along the interface.An incident wave of a particular wave number gets reflected and transmitted over the bottom undulation into waves of both modes.Perturbation analysis in conjunction with the Fourier transform technique is used to derive the first-order corrections of reflection and transmission coefficients for both the modes due to incident waves of two different modes.One special type of bottom topography is considered as an example to evaluate the related coefficients in detail.These coefficients are depicted in graphical forms to demonstrate the transformation of wave energy between the two modes and also to illustrate the effects of the ice sheet and the porosity of the undulating bed.  相似文献

Global strength is a significant item for floatingproduction storage and offloading (FPSO) design, and steel weightplays an important role in the building costs of FPSO. A common method is to use the ABS FPSOEagle software to analyze the global strength including the rulecheck and direct strength analysis. For a large floating vessel in waves,radiation damping is not an accurate prediction of the degree of roll unlike other degrees of freedom motion.Therefore,to get the knowledge of roll motion performance of deepwater pipelay crane vessels and to keep the vessel working safety,the paper presents the relationship between a series of dimensionless roll damping coefficients and the roll response amplitude operator(RAO).By using two kinds of empirical data,the roll damping is estimated in the calculation flow.After getting the roll damping coefficient from the model test,a prediction of roll motion in regular waves is evaluated.According to the wave condition in the working region,short term statistics of roll motion are presented under different wave parameters.Moreover,the relationship between the maximal roll response level to peak spectral wave period and the roll damping coefficient is investigated.Results may provide some reference to design and improve this kind of vessel.  相似文献

Existing VIV prediction approaches for steel catenary riser (SCR) typically employ truncation model without considering the interaction between the SCR and soil, and only allow for cross-flow (CF) VIV. In this study, a time domain approach accounting for the SCR-soil interaction is proposed to predict the CF and in-line (IL) VIV induced fatigue damage of a SCR at touchdown zone (TDZ). The hydrodynamic force resulting from the vortex shedding is modeled using the forced oscillation test data of a rigid cylinder and an empirical damping model, which are defined as functions of the non-dimensional dominant frequency and amplitude of the SCR response. Due to the coupling effect, the IL VIV force is magnified based on the CF VIV amplitude. By combining a linear hysteretic interaction model with a trench shape model, some particular phenomena during the vertical SCR-soil interaction are captured and qualitatively discussed, while for the horizontal direction, the seabed is simplified as nonlinear spring model. Based on these models, parametric studies are conducted to broaden the understanding of the sensitivity of VIV induced fatigue damage to the seabed characteristic. The results indicate trench depth, vertical and lateral stiffness, and clay suction are significantly affect the VIV induced maximum fatigue damage at TDZ.  相似文献

随着世界范围内深海石油开采的需要,近年来关于海洋结构物涡激振动的研究越来越受到重视.虽然此问题在数值模拟和实验方面都已取得了一定的进展,但是还有许多问题尚待解决.同时,新型海洋结构物的引入给涡激振动的预报方法和抑振手段提出了新的挑战.因此,细长海洋结构物的涡激振动仍将是未来几年里备受关注的研究课题.本文在介绍有关涡激振动基本概念和理论背景的基础上,总结了近年来关于以深水立管为代表的海洋结构物涡激振动的研究与进展,包括对现有涡激振动分析工具的分类与评估;对柱体及海洋结构物涡激振动的实验研究;对深水立管与涡激振动相关的疲劳评估准则的研究;海洋结构物的横向、流向及轴向涡激振动的耦合作用研究;关于海洋结构物涡激振动的抑振措施和设备的理论及实验研究.本文着重介绍了计算流体力学方法在海洋结构物涡激振动研究中的应用和进展.最后,对海洋结构物涡激振动相关的研究热点的现状进行了总结并对今后工作提出了展望.  相似文献

深海海底多跨管道相比于单跨,其涡激振动行为却更为复杂。文章考虑了两端跨肩和中间支撑处的管—土作用边界条件,提出了多跨管道涡激振动预报模型,标定了模型参数,并重点分析了跨肩边界条件、中间支撑条件和悬跨长度对管道涡激振动特性的影响。结果表明:较大的两端边界处扭转弹簧弹性系数、较大的中间支撑处扭转和拉伸弹簧弹性系数和较短的悬跨长度,会限制管道结构高阶模态的激发,同时还发现了振动能量会在相邻管跨之间传递的现象。  相似文献

海底悬跨管道与海床耦合呈现高度非线性,使得发展一种时域预报方法成为需要.文章运用有限元法对输液张紧悬跨管道进行空间离散,并应用Facchinetti等改进的尾流振子模型和切片假定模拟每个有限单元上的涡激振动水动力,发展了一种悬跨管道-海床-流场多场耦合的非线性时域预报方法.在合理选取尾流振子模型附加水动力阻尼参数的基础上,时域预报了线性、理想塑性和张力截断弹簧模型下悬跨管道的涡激振动响应.研究结果表明,基于尾流振子的时域预报方法能够合理地描述非线性管土耦合边界下VIV响应;非线性边界条件下,锁定产生的最大响应幅值低于线性结果.  相似文献

Helical strakes are known to reduce and even eliminate the oscillation amplitude of vortex-induced vibrations (VIV). This reduction will increase the fatigue life. The optimum length and position of the helical strakes for a given riser will vary with the current profile.

The purpose of the present paper is to describe how data from VIV experiments with suppressing devices like fairings and strakes can be implemented into a theoretical VIV model. The computer program is based on an empirical model for calculation of VIV. Suppression devices can be accounted for by using user-defined data for hydrodynamic coefficients, i.e. lift and damping coefficients, for the selected segments.

The effect of strakes on fatigue damage due to cross flow VIV is illustrated for a vertical riser exposed to sheared and uniform current. Comparison of measured and calculated fatigue life is performed for a model riser equipped with helical strakes. A systematic study of length of a section with strakes for a set of current profiles is done and the results are also presented.  相似文献

Untrenched submarine pipelines lying on the seabed are vulnerable and can be damaged by the impact of falling objects. This may cause significant economic costs for repair and even environmental contamination in case of rupture and oil leakage. This paper presents assessment of submarine pipeline damage subjected to falling object impact considering the effect of seabed through nonlinear explicit dynamic finite element modelling. The numerical model was first verified against existing experimental results and established studies. A total of 209 cases of parametric study was then conducted to assess pipeline damage by accounting for various factors, including object mass, velocity and seabed conditions. The results show that the pipeline damage can be directly related to the impact kinetic energy of the falling object for pipelines sitting on rigid bed. In other words, falling objects with the same impact energy (while mass and velocity may vary) cause the same damage to a pipeline. For a pipeline on a soil seabed, however, this study shows that pipeline damage is no longer simplistically determined by the impact kinetic energy of the falling objects. Falling objects with different mass and velocity may cause different pipeline damages, even though the impact energy is the same. It is interesting to find out that objects with a smaller mass (i.e. higher velocity) tend to cause greater damage than objects with a greater mass (i.e. lower velocity), when the total impact kinetic energy of the falling objects is the same. These observations are explored in this paper, which is explained with the variation of the energy absorption due to the existence of soil seabed.  相似文献

海底管道靠近海床表面处受海流冲刷,管道与海床表面产生一定间隙,该间隙与管道直径的比值定义为间隙比。通过数值模拟和物理模型试验,研究间隙比对管道绕流的水动力特性的影响。物理模型试验中,六分力天平测得管道的阻力和升力,数值模拟研究管道尾流流态和旋涡发放频率。结果表明:间隙比低于某临界值时,海床的存在阻碍了剪切层与层外流动间的相互作用,抑制层内涡量的传递,下游旋涡得不到充分发展,发放频率有所降低;海床壁面加剧管道两侧压力分布不均匀,压力差增加,因而管道阻力和升力增大;间隙比高于某临界值时,海床的抑制作用逐渐削弱,旋涡脱落趋于规则,海床未对绕流产生较大影响,管道受力随之趋于稳定。该研究可为海流冲刷引起的海底管道悬跨现象的安全设计提供理论指导。  相似文献

张力腿涡激振动易引起系泊系统的疲劳损伤,危害张力腿平台的安全性和可靠性。该文借鉴细长立管涡激振动的相关研究,同时考虑张力腿与立管在截面尺度、预张力大小以及边界条件存在的巨大差距,采用切片理论结合CFD数值模拟方法,对平台运动影响下张力腿涡激振动开展了研究。考虑定常张力与时变张力对涡激振动的影响,采用GAMBIT软件分区建立了多切片计算网格,将编制求解涡激振动的UDF程序嵌入Fluent软件中,采用动网格技术实现流场的更新并计算作用于张力腿上的瞬时升力和拖曳力。文中还比较了仅考虑流和考虑浪、流联合作用张力腿的时变张力影响,研究了两种典型波高共计六种工况,计算结果表明:随着流速的增加,各模态权重比例将发生跳转现象;尽管由于平台运动导致张力腿受力的随机性,但平台运动对张力腿涡激振动影响较小。  相似文献

海底管道涡激振动和管道周围海床冲刷是海流--管道--海床之间复杂的动力耦合问题.文章应用量纲分析方法对海流、管道与海床之间的动力耦合作用进行了分析,确定了在实验模拟中应遵循的相似准则.在此基础上,研制了一套能模拟海流、海床与海底管道之间相互作用的实验模拟装置.初步实验结果表明文中研制的实验模拟装置能够模拟典型海洋环境下海底管道的涡激振动和管道周围海床冲刷等问题.  相似文献

浅埋海底管线由于外部环境荷载的改变,必然引起一定的附加应力。在这种条件下,必须对管线采取防护措施。提出了浅埋海底管线的防护方案,并应用有限元方法,建立了同时考虑土体-结构-海底管线三者耦合作用的二维有限元分析模型,对采取保护措施的海底管线进行应力的分析计算,计算结果表明所采用的防护方案是合理的。  相似文献
