ABSTRACT

Accurately estimating fuel consumption of ships is crucial for shipping companies, port authorities, and environmental protection agencies. The bottom-up approach is becoming increasingly popular because it can estimate ship fuel consumption by accounting for ship activity conditions, such as changes in voyage speed, time, and distance; however, its use is still limited when estimating ship fuel consumption. Ship-specific information, such as the daily fuel consumption rate for main and auxiliary engines for every vessel, is expensive to gather, and generally not collected from private shipping companies. To address this research gap, we develop simplified and composite ship fuel consumption models for ocean-going container ships by size using a regression model. To estimate the fuel consumption models for container ships, we rely on ship activity data, including average speed and sailing time, distance, and actual fuel consumption for main and auxiliary engines. This information is obtained from a major container shipping company in Korea. We estimate and validate the parameters associated with fuel consumption for five different container ship sizes, all of which are smaller than the Post-Panamax container ship (15,000 TEU and above).  相似文献

对于集装箱船结构评估中加速度公式所需重心位置进行研究。以10艘集装箱船为研究对象,选取规范校核的典型装载工况,参照《散货船和油船共同结构规范》中的公式开展重心位置对比。研究发现,采用《散货船和油船共同结构规范》中的公式所得结果与实际值相差较大,该公式不适用于集装箱船。在此基础上,中国船级社在其《集装箱船结构规范》中提出一种新的集装箱船重心位置估算公式。另选5艘集装箱船,通过将采用该估算公式所得结果与实际值相对比,验证该估算公式合理、实用。  相似文献

介绍约束扭转计算原理,分析集装箱船的结构和受力特点,利用MSC/Nastran软件探讨了集装箱船的扭转强度计算方法。在现有结构形式的基础上,提出几种可能提高结构扭转强度的结构加强方案,通过有限元分析比较各方案对于增加同样重量的钢料船体结构中翘曲应力变化情况,比对抗扭效果,研究在考虑成本基础上提高集装箱船抗扭强度的加强方案优先顺序,结果显示对于支线型集装箱船增加舱口围厚度可更有效提高其抗扭强度。  相似文献

为提升江苏内河集装箱运输船舶标准化水平,实现船型与船闸、航道等通航基础设施发展相匹配,通过梳理内河标准船型主尺度标准和通航管理规定的修订情况,结合京杭运河江苏段集装箱营运船舶的调研,在船舶主尺度、舱室布置、船体结构和新能源动力的应用等方面分析江苏内河集装箱船标准船型的设计要点,完成48 TEU、64 TEU和96 TEU标准集装箱船设计。虽然受限于内河航运关注船舶成本的现状,标准集装箱船的设计更多采用传统基础船型设计思路,但研发运用先进技术、满足内河EEDI的绿色节能型船舶是标准船型的重要发展方向。  相似文献

Simulation-based design hull form optimization has become one of the most effective ways to develop energy-saving ships. However, the traditional method is time consuming and inefficient, so it is difficult to apply it to practical engineering. One of the reasons for this difficulty is that there are numerous parameters for expressing the hull form, making it difficult to find the optimal solution within a short amount of time. Therefore, this paper presents a sensitivity analysis method based on radial basis function and partial least squares regression neural network with uniform design for sampling, to study the sensitivity of local hull parameters of a class of container ships on wave-making resistance performance, and to reduce the number of dimensions in the design space. According to the results of sensitivity analysis, the parameters that are of negligible influence on the objective function can be removed from the optimization model. Comparison of results of the original model and the simplified model shows that the presented sensitivity analysis method can effectively reduce the dimension of the design space so that the time consumed to achieve the optimum is decreased.  相似文献

The importance of hydroelastic analysis of large and flexible container ships of today is pointed out for structure design. A methodology for investigation of this challenging phenomenon is drawn up and a mathematical model is worked out. It includes the definition of ship geometry, mass parameters, structure stiffness, and combines ship hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, wave load, ship motion and vibrations. The modal superposition method is employed. Based on the presented theory, a computer program is developed and applied for hydroelastic analysis of a large container ship. The transfer functions for heave, pitch, roll, vertical and horizontal bending and torsion are presented. Rigid body and elastic responses are correlated.  相似文献

This paper presents an investigation of the longitudinal strength of ships with damages due to grounding or collision accidents. Analytical equations are derived for the residual hull girder strength and verified with direct calculations of sample commercial ships for a broad spectrum of accidents. Hull girder ultimate strengths of these sample vessels under sagging and hogging conditions are also calculated, based on which correlation equations are proposed. To evaluate a grounded ship, using the section modulus to the deck would be optimistic, while using the section modulus to the bottom would be conservative. On the contrary, to evaluate a collided ship, using the section modulus to the deck would be conservative, while using the section modulus to the bottom would be optimistic. The derived analytical formulae are then applied to a fleet of 67 commercial ships, including 21 double hull tankers, 18 bulk carriers, 22 single hull tankers and six container carriers. The mean values, standard deviations and coefficients of variation for the coefficients in these new analytical formulae are obtained. The ship length exhibits little influence on these coefficients because they are close to the mean values although ship length spans from 150 to 400 m. The ship type shows some influence on the residual strength. Uniform equations are proposed for commercial ships which do not depend on a ship's principal dimensions. These formulae provide very handy tools for predicting the residual strength in seconds, without performing step-by-step detailed calculations, an obvious advantage in cases of emergency or salvage operation.  相似文献

我国现行《舰船通用规范》适用于设计水线长不超过160m的水面舰船,当设计水线长在160~200m时,规范规定参照执行。随着舰船的尺度逐渐加大,波浪载荷的计算问题更加复杂。比较了4种规范的波浪载荷计算公式,并应用线性切片理论,采用短期和长期预报的方法,计算大尺度舰船的垂向波浪诱导弯矩值。因此,对于一定范围内的大尺度水面舰船,采用"通用规范"所得波浪载荷值计算船体强度还有一定安全性,并可运用多种计算方法合理选取波浪弯矩值。  相似文献

国内航行的多用途船的船舱内载运集装箱时,因船舱空间尺度、装载集装箱的尺度及箱内货种的特征,选用可靠的系固方式是保障船舶和货物安全的前提。尽管横向拉压支撑的系固方式应用广泛,但由于系固活动件数量多、质量大且系固过程费工费时,不适应国内多用途船装运的集装箱运程短,且又要保证装卸效率。经过多种集装箱系固方式的适用性及相应的技术指标深入对比分析,结合各种运输工况,提出了5种系固方案选型并结合实例分析。系固方式的选型过程可供相关船舶运输及设计部门参考。  相似文献
