This paper devotes both analytical and experimental efforts in developing a comprehensive dynamic model for an articulated steering wheel loader. The general motion of a wheel loader without suspension is described by seven degrees of freedom (DOF) (three for translation and four for rotation) in this model, which can be used to study the problem of wheel loader dynamics on slopes and over obstacles. A scale wheel loader was designed and manufactured to validate the dynamic model in three conditions (turning on level ground, turning on slopes, and passing over obstacles). The test results reasonably agree with the simulation results. The developed dynamic model was found to be useful and could serve as an important tool for analysing the stability of wheel loaders.  相似文献

Reliability of the railway vehicle suspension system is of critical importance to the safety of the vehicle. It is very desirable to monitor the health condition and the performance degradation of the suspension system online, which offers the important information of the suspension system and is critically important for the condition-based maintenance rather than scheduled maintenance in the future. Advanced fault diagnosis method is one of the most effective means for the health monitoring of the suspension system. In this paper, taking the lateral suspension system as an examcple, the fault isolation issue for different component faults occurring in the suspension system is concerned. The sensor configuration for obtaining the vehicle state information and the mathematical model for the lateral suspension system are presented. Four fault features in the time domain and three fault features in the frequency domain are used for each sensor signal. Three different methods, Dempster–Shafer (D–S) evidence theory, Fisher discrimination analysis (FDA) and support vector machine (SVM) techniques are applied to the fault isolation problem. Simulation study is carried out by means of the professional multi-body simulation tool, SIMPACK. The simulation results show that these methods can isolate the considered component faults effectively with a high accuracy. The D–S evidence-based fault isolation approach outperforms the other two methods.  相似文献

Vibration accelerations were measured on a compact wheel loader during 11 operations with two drivers and with/without the activated boom suspension system (BSS). Two standards, ISO 2631-1 (1985) and ISO 2631-1 (1997), were used to assess the effect of wheel loader vibration on comfort. The assessment results of ISO 2631-1 (1985) showed that vibration in the frequency range from 4 to 20 Hz in the vertical direction and in the frequency range from 1.6 to 3.15 Hz in the vertical and driving directions plays an important role in comfort assessment. The overall total values of vibration measured on the wheel loader in all operations exceeded the ‘uncomfortable’ boundary specified in ISO 2631-1 (1997). The speed had a larger influence on the vibration intensity than the bucket load, the BSS or the driver biodynamic response during driving. During driving and V-cycle, the difference of vibration intensity with two drivers in the z-direction is larger than that in the x- and y-direction.  相似文献
