以汽车落地骨架零件为具体研究对象,利用LS-DYNA的动态有限元显式算法,研究冲压成形有限元数值模拟技术中影响模拟质量的重要因素,如网格质量、时间步长控制、渗透控制、沙漏控制,对汽车骨架类零件冲压成形数值模拟质量的影响。这对于有限元数值模拟技术在实际生产中的应用能够起到有益的指导作用。  相似文献

在线性二自由度车辆模型基础上,采用直接横摆力矩控制方法,选取质心侧偏角和横摆角速度作为稳定性控制系统的主控变量,设计了三种具有针对性的基于滑模变结构理论的车辆操纵稳定性控制策略——质心侧偏角、横摆角速度和两者联合的滑模变结构控制。在Matlab,Simulink平台上,对三种汽车稳定性控制策略的具体应用进行仿真分析,验证了所设计稳定性控制算法的有效性和鲁棒性。  相似文献

The Commission on Adhesive Bonding for Automotive Body (abbreviated as ABAS) of the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan carried out a cooperative research project on the application of structural adhesive technology to the automotive body for five years from 1989. In this review, we introduce the outline of activities of this project for the last two years, the main subjects of which are the aging reliability estimation test of the adhesive joint, the adhesive joint with adherends of different metal (steel/aluminum alloy) and impact tests of the adhesive joint with regard to collision safety.  相似文献

Aluminum alloys are important technological materials for the application on lightweight design and development of vehicle body. The research works for characterizing warm forming behavior of aluminum alloys have generally reported. However, there were few researches focused on the flow behavior of warm forming aluminum alloy parts for the energy absorbing performance during crash. The tensile stress-strain response for warm forming AA5182 specimens tested under the strain rates of 0.0015 s?1, 0.015 s?1, 0.15 s?1 and 1.5 s?1 are presented in this paper. The data were fit to the Johnson-Cook constitutive model for the simulation of frontal impact. The energy absorbing performance of warm forming AA5182 parts were analyzed. The results show the higher flow stresses and lower fractured strain of warm forming aluminum alloy parts with the strain rate increasing. The flow stresses of warm forming aluminum alloy parts are insensitive to strain rate, while the fractured strain and elongation are sensitive to strain rate. The intrusion displacement of the warm forming aluminum alloy parts is appropriate for the satisfaction of vehicle body design avoiding the excessive deformation for the injury of passenger or the failure of frontal door opening. The feasibility of warm forming aluminum alloy parts is verified with the analysis of energy absorbing performance, stiffness and modal of vehicle body.  相似文献

High speed and sport utility vehicles with large joint articulation angle demand lower friction in automotive driveshaft joints to meet noise and vibration comfort levels. Thus a more thorough understanding of internal friction characteristics and mechanisms is required. In this paper, a friction model in automotive driveshaft joints was developed through the use of test data from an instrumented Constant Velocity (CV) joint friction apparatus with actual driveshaft assemblies. Experiments were conducted under different realistic operating conditions of oscillatory speeds, CV joint articulation angles, lubrication, and torque. The experimental data was used to develop a physics-based semi-empirical CV joint internal friction model as a function of different CV joint operating parameters. It was found that the proposed friction model captures the experimental results well. Also the friction model estimates the generated axial force (GAF) in tripod CV joints well, which is the main source of force that causes vehicle vibration problems.  相似文献

A Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) program for in-cylinder airflow analysis has been developed by the authors. The feature of the developed program is that it treats turbulence flow with the quasi-direct numerical simulation (Quasi-DNS). So it is possible to present transient turbulence eddy motions in detail. For fast and high quality mesh generation, the Voxel method was employed. The computational domain is discretized by uniform cubic cells in this method. The simulation results were verified by two benchmark tests. One of them in common use is a backward step flow test, the other is an in-cylinder flow test that supposed the engine induction stroke. Good agreement was obtained between the simulation and the experimental results of these benchmark tests.  相似文献

在Pro/E环境下建立某汽车驱动桥壳3D模型,利用ANSYS软件,按国家驱动桥壳台架试验的标准,在计算机中采用有限元方法模拟其垂直弯曲刚性试验、垂直弯曲静强度试验。分析结果表明,该桥壳具有足够的静强度和刚度,产品设计满足要求。同时将有限元计算结果与试验结果进行了对比,吻合较好。  相似文献

Increasing fuel economy has been a central issue in the development of new cars, and one of the important strategies to improve fuel economy is to decrease vehicle weight. In order to obtain this goal, researchers have sought to make bumpers lighter without sacrificing strength, ability to absorb impact, or passenger safety. In this study, the effects of structural variables on the torsional stiffness of a body bumper impact beam were analyzed for possible weight reduction. To this end, the effects of variation of section height, increase of impact beam thickness and the addition of stays in a bumper impact beam were carefully investigated and compared. Among these, the most effective way to increase the torsional stiffness of the bumper impact beam was found to be increasing the section height. In addition, the potential for overall weight reduction of the impact beam was examined by comparing the crash capability of a bumper using conventional steels with that of high-strength steel (boron steel) with a tensile strength of 1.5 GPa. This analysis could serve as a guide to design for optimal bumper impact beam development.  相似文献

It is quite challenging to estimate the braking performance of a vehicle because the brake system is comprised of many parts, including a booster, master cylinder, and caliper. Calculation of characteristics such as braking force through vehicle tests requires much time and money. Therefore, the development of a method to estimate the braking performance of a vehicle using qualitative methods is beneficial. In this study, a program that can analyze the braking capabilities of a vehicle such as pressure, efficiency, and pedal travel is presented. The increase in disc temperature during braking as well as the properties of various boosters can be calculated using the proposed program. Dynamic characteristics of a vehicle equipped with a Load Sensing Proportional Valve (LSPV) were computed more precisely by obtaining the change in valve pressure according to the displacement of a suspension system. Since all input and output files are composed in the Microsoft Excel format, both design data management and database construction can easily completed.  相似文献

Door glass position errors that occur when an automobile door glass goes up and down not only reduce the basic performance of the door glass in terms of sound- and water-proofing, but also decrease the life span of the glass run and belt. Thus, there is a need for understanding the dynamic behavior of a door glass in order to reduce these errors. In this research, we analyzed the door glass behavior by developing a dynamic numerical analysis model for a single rail regulator type of door glass lifting system. We modeled the glass run and belt lip load as a non-linear spring-damper system to reflect changes in the lip load caused by door glass position errors in the analysis. We also introduced local coordinate systems to find door glass position errors during the lifting process. By using our model, the time spent on the up and down motions, the current, and the lifting resistance could be predicted with 4 %, 11 %, 3 % and 4 % of error, respectively, comparing with the test data. We confirmed the effects of imbalances and boundary conditions in the load and moment which occur during the door glass lifting process. We also found that the lip reaction force, coefficient of friction, overlap length and position of the lift line cause door glass position errors.  相似文献

Using the recent anthropometry of the North American population, human body models were developed for seat comfort simulation. The external geometry of the models was acquired from the three-dimensional whole body laser scan of recruited volunteers in a driving position. The selection criteria for volunteers with standard size and shape were derived from a statistical factor analysis of the Size USA database. As a practical application of the model in a design process, comfortable driving postures were constructed by adopting the cascade prediction model (CPM), which takes into account both interior package layout and the driver’s anthropometry. The detail modeling process of finite element modeling and its validation results against volunteer measurements are introduced.  相似文献

At conceptual design stage, automotive body is usually simplified as a frame structure, which consists of thinwalled beams (TWBs). Therefore, the most important issue is to determine the cross-sectional shape of TWBs under the requirement of mechanical properties. However, design engineers mostly depend on their experience or repeated modification to design the cross-sectional shape of TWBs. So this paper presents a rapidly cross-sectional shape design and optimization method to satisfy the demand of mechanical properties and meanwhile minimize the weight of TWB. Firstly, cross-sectional mechanics property formulations are summarized. Especially, the torsional rigidity formulation of three-cell cross section is derived for the first time in this paper. Secondly, the shape optimization model is created to minimize the weight of TWB and improve the mechanical properties, which is solved by genetic algorithm. Moreover, three stamping constraints, draft angle, chamfer radius and assembly, are introduced to promote the cross-sectional shape more practice. Lastly, numerical examples verify the effectiveness of the optimization model and show the application in structural modification of automotive frame.  相似文献

The stiffness of the body structure of an automobile has a strong relationship with its noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) characteristics. In this paper, the effect of the stiffness of the body structure upon ride quality is discussed with flexible multibody dynamics. In flexible multibody simulation, the local elastic deformation of the vehicle has been described traditionally with modal shape functions. Recently, linear model reduction techniques from system dynamics and mathematics came into the focus to find more sophisticated elastic shape functions. In this work, the NVH-relevant states of a racing kart are simulated, whereas the elastic shape functions are calculated with modern model reduction techniques like moment matching by projection on Krylov-subspaces, singular value decomposition-based reduction techniques, and combinations of those. The whole elastic multibody vehicle model consisting of tyres, steering, axle, etc. is considered, and an excitation with a vibration characteristics in a wide frequency range is evaluated in this paper. The accuracy and the calculation performance of those modern model reduction techniques is investigated including a comparison of the modal reduction approach.  相似文献
