In a previous paper, oil-film pressure in an engine main bearing was measured by a using thin-film Manganin sensor. This sensor had adequate sensitivity to strain and temperature in terms of measurement principle. In this study, more accurate measurement of oil-film pressure was allowed by the formation of the newly developed thin-film strain sensor made of Ni-Cr-Al at the same location as that of the Manganin pressure sensor, and the correction of measurement errors caused by strain. The characteristics of bearing metal surface strain varied by engine operating conditions are also shown in this paper.  相似文献

In order to improve the economical and environmental performances of the Diesel engines, the present paper aims to bring to the forefront solutions to increase the efficiency of the supercharging process carried out by the aggregates with Comprex type pressure waves. One solution to this is to drive the Comprex, not by the supercharged engine as it currently happens, but by a DC motor. The speed of the electric motor is modified, by means of an electronic management system, depending on the speed and load of the Diesel engine. The paper presents the experimental results obtained during the investigation of a supercharged Diesel engine by the Comprex driven type according to the proposed solution.  相似文献

Model gas reaction experiments were conducted to analyze the factors causing the conversion rate of hydrocarbons (consisting mainly of CH4) to decline in the lean-mixture region, using a natural gas engine fitted with a three-way catalyst. The results showed that there was no decline in the conversion rate of methane in CH4-O2 reactions in the lean-mixture region. However, it was observed that oxidation of CH4 was suppressed when either H2O or NO was also present. It is thought that prior adsorption of H2O and NO inhibits adsorption of CH4 at active sites, resulting in a lower conversion rate.  相似文献

Generally speaking, it is very difficult to observe the growing process of large scaled vortices in a transient gas jet. The vortices have great effect on the mechanism of mixture formation between the jet itself and the surroundings. The objective of the study presented here is the clarification of this mechanism in both cases of a free jet and a jet impinging on a flat wall by means of the flow visualization of 21) image taken by thin sheet of laser light in the experiments and the numerical analysis by the discrete vortex method. The mechanism of the vortex growth and the coherent structure of vortices entraining the surroundings are observed in the case of the free jet. In the wall impinging jet, the structure inside the jet is divided into four regions, that is, free jet region, impingement region, wall jet region and wall jet vortex region. The results of the numerical analysis agree qualitatively well with the experimental data.  相似文献

The combustion temperature drops with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), but the mean gas temperature in the combustion chamber may rise due to the rise of intake gas temperature and the drop of excess air ratio. For the verification of these effects, narrow J-type thermocouples were embedded in the piston and cylinder liner of an automobile D.I. diesel engine, and accurate measurements were conducted accordingly.In addition, the authors developed a measuring method of the intake gas temperature flowing between the intake valve and the seat to study the effect on the thermal loads on the combustion chamber wall.  相似文献

The distribution of contact stresses in the wheel–rail system is a decisive factor for the wear of elements and the safety of rail transport. Analytical calculations of stresses based on the Hertz theory can only be applied to elastic deformation of materials. High dynamic loads leading to plastic deformation (not considered in the Hertz theory) are a predominant cause of problems in the contact vicinity. These problems can be successfully resolved by applying the finite-elements method. Two- and three-dimensional test models were generated to estimate an error in numerical calculations in the MSC.MARC program. We compared the results of numerical calculations with analytical calculations. Based on the obtained results we defined the effect of parameters describing the finite-elements mesh on the calculation error for contact stresses, and adjusted mesh parameters appropriately to achieve as low as possible error in numerical calculations. We also defined the effect of material characteristics on the value of contact stresses on the wheel–rail interface.  相似文献

For the long heavy-haul train, the basic principles of the inter-vehicle interaction and train–track dynamic interaction are analysed firstly. Based on the theories of train longitudinal dynamics and vehicle–track coupled dynamics, a three-dimensional (3-D) dynamic model of the heavy-haul train–track coupled system is established through a modularised method. Specifically, this model includes the subsystems such as the train control, the vehicle, the wheel–rail relation and the line geometries. And for the calculation of the wheel–rail interaction force under the driving or braking conditions, the large creep phenomenon that may occur within the wheel–rail contact patch is considered. For the coupler and draft gear system, the coupler forces in three directions and the coupler lateral tilt angles in curves are calculated. Then, according to the characteristics of the long heavy-haul train, an efficient solving method is developed to improve the computational efficiency for such a large system. Some basic principles which should be followed in order to meet the requirement of calculation accuracy are determined. Finally, the 3-D train–track coupled model is verified by comparing the calculated results with the running test results. It is indicated that the proposed dynamic model could simulate the dynamic performance of the heavy-haul train well.  相似文献

采用热脱附-气相色谱-质谱联用技术(TD-CC-MS)对国3柴油机排气中的挥发性有机物进行了分析.在国3柴油机不同转速和负荷下的排气中定性检出烷烃、烯烃、芳香烃等90余种挥发性有机物,且在VOC8中以碳数C5-C20的化合物为主,其中C8化合物排放比例最高,为9.81%~15.41%.试验结果表明,芳香烃中的苯、甲苯、对二甲苯、间二甲苯、邻二甲苯、乙苯、苯乙烯、萘等排放量较高,其中排放水平最高的为甲苯;在相同转速下,苯乙烯的排放随着发动机负荷的增加而降低;而其他芳香烃则随着柴油机负荷的增加呈先降后增的变化趋势;在相同负荷下,多数芳香烃在中低负荷时随着发动机转速的增加而降低,但在高负荷时随发动机转速增加变化幅度很小.  相似文献

A novel approach is proposed in this paper to deal with non-Hertzian normal contact in wheel–rail interface, extending the widely used Kik–Piotrowski method. The new approach is able to consider the effect of the yaw angle of the wheelset against the rail on the shape of the contact patch and on pressure distribution. Furthermore, the method considers the variation of profile curvature across the contact patch, enhancing the correspondence to CONTACT for highly non-Hertzian contact conditions. The simulation results show that the proposed method can provide more accurate estimation than the original algorithm compared to Kalker’s CONTACT, and that the influence of yaw on the contact results is significant under certain circumstances.  相似文献

An instrument to measure time-resolved fuel–air ratio in the vicinity of a spark plug was developed. Properties of absorption and scattering at the wavelengths of visible and infrared rays were utilized to determine the fuel–air ratio in the mixture including liquid and vaporized fuel. The measurement error of the instrument was within 10% as a result of comparison between the overall and the measured fuel–air ratio at the vicinity of the spark plug under the inlet port injection, which forms a relatively homogeneous mixture. The instrument was applied to a direct injection gasoline engine and the mixture formation process was clarified.  相似文献

The effect of damaged transverse connection of diaphragm beams on the bearing capacity of prefabricated concrete T?beam bridges was studied through model experiment and finite element analysis On the basis of standard drawing of 16 m T?beam bridge,a refabricated concrete T?beam bridge model on the scale of 1 to 4 was designed by using of welding steel plate The impacts of different condition on transverse load distribution were discussed The result shows that (1) flange connection has little impact on the transverse load distribution when the diaphragm beams are connected reliably; (2) the damage of transverse connections has much influence on the transverse load distribution of adjacent girders but it has little effect on the girders apart from them; (3) if a certain transverse connection is damaged entirely except for that of the end diaphragm beams,the load distribution would not degenerate to the conditions determined by the flange connection because of the advantageous effects of the other diaphragm beams; (4) only when the bilateral diaphragms of one beam are damaged at the same time,the lateral load distribution will degenerate to the conditions determined by the flange connection  相似文献

A stochastic mathematical model is developed to evaluate the dynamic behaviours and statistical responses of vehicle–track systems when random system excitations including crosswinds and track irregularities are imposed. In this model, the railway vehicle is regarded as a multi-rigid-body system, the track system is modelled by finite element theory. These two systems are spatially coupled by the nonlinear wheel–rail contact forces and unsteady aerodynamic forces. The high efficiency and accuracy of this stochastic model are validated by comparing to the robust Monte-Carlo method. Numerical studies show that crosswinds have a great influence on the dynamic performance of vehicle–track systems, especially on transverse vibrations. When the railway vehicle initially runs into the wind field, it will experience a severe vibration stage, and then stepping into a relatively steady state where the fluctuating winds and track irregularities will play deterministic roles in the deviations of system responses. Moreover, it is found that track irregularities should be properly considered in the safety assessment of the vehicle even in strong crosswinds.  相似文献
