Tool Wear Prediction in Micro-end-milling with Hard Material

The applications of micro-machining have increased drastically in the last ten years. However, tools with less than 1mm diameter using for micro-mills have very short and unpredictable life when they are used to cut hard metals. In this study, preliminary design of experiment (DOE) test program was conducted to investigate and identify the factors affecting tool wear at the micro-scale with hard material. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Taguchi method were efficient to determine appropriate cutting condition and the effect of parameters. A simple model was also developed to predict the width of slots on the workpiece along the cutting length. The obtained results can provide the basic guidelines for parameter setting of micro-end-milling with hard material.     

Cryptanalysis of Two Pseudo-attacks from the Same Mathematic Mistake

Yang and Shieh proposed a timestamp-based password authentication scheme. Fan and Shen gave different improvements on it. Wang claimed that Fan's improvement is insecure and gave his attack. Yang did the similar things on Shen's scheme. This paper gave further cryptanalysis on Wang's and Yang's attacks and pointed out that both of their attacks are infeasible. Wang and Yang made the same mathematic mistake and their attacks are pseudo.     

Adaptive Synchronization in Small-World Dynamical Networks

Adaptive synchronization in NW small-world dynamical networks was studied.Firstly,an adaptive synchronization method is presented and explained.Then,it is applied to two different classes of dynamical networks,one is a class-B network,small-world connected R o¨ssler oscillators,the other is a class-A network,small-world connected Chua's circuits.The simulation verifies the validity of the presented method.It also shows that the adaptive synchronization method is robust to the variations of the node systems parameters.So the presented method can be used in networks whose node systems have unknown or time-varying parameters.

基于IEC 61373:2010的轨道交通列车车轮踏面清扫器振动冲击试验

介绍了轨道交通列车车轮踏面清扫器的结构与功能。参照IEC 61373:2010的要求,对实车采集的振动载荷进行了等效计算。设计了试验方案,对踏面清扫器进行了横向、纵向和垂向等3个方向的模拟长寿命振动试验、冲击试验和功能性随机振动试验。结果表明,在目前的试验条件下,踏面清扫器各零部件未出现明显裂痕,性能未受到影响。
