For multibody systems with closed kinematic Loops a set of ordinary differential equations and decoupled algebraic equations is formulated which can be solved with explicit multistep integration algorithms. This is achieved by introducing a minimal set of generalized coordinates being specified during numerical integration. For avoiding restart of the integration algorithm after changing these variables transformation relationships are given. Velocity and acceleration constraints are satisfied exactly, position constraints are fulfilled approximately by a dynamic invariant projection onto the constraint manifold. The method is demonstrated by an application to a five-point wheel suspension.  相似文献

Paper deals with the linear behaviour of a railway vehicle with any arbitrary number of wheelsets, body parts and connecting elements. A vehicle which has both perfect curving properties and asymptotical stability at vanishing speed, has to satisfy a twofold condition, indicated by Wickens in 1978. In the present paper this condition is derived in reliance upon the dimension theorem for linear mappings. How the investigation can be executed in practice, is shown for the case of a two-axled vehicle. At last the behaviour in a transition curve is discussed.  相似文献

In this paper a project undertaken by the author is described to illustrate modifications which may be necessary to the type of analysis given in an earlier paper [1] when difficulties arise from various practical considerations. The problem examined deals with the installation of unloading facilities at a purpose-built iron ore terminal at a steelworks. However, some of the data quoted has been coded to preserve confidentiality. The project was bedevilled by an unusual number of uncertainties; to appreciate these it is necessary to view them in relation to the situation existing at that time.  相似文献

Evidence of the inability of transport models to elucidate policy is cited and reasons for this weakness are then suggested.Attention is drawn to the fundamental changes in both opinion and policy currently taking place. There is less concern with accessibility per se and rather more concern with the provision of adequate or minimum accessibility for certain social groups. More emphasis is placed also on the environmental aspects of transportation.The implications of these changes are outlined. It is not at all clear that the need to adapt and up-date models is appreciated widely enough. Four basic tire models suitable for dynamic vehicle simulation are formulated. The models are compared through a six-degree-of-freedom nonlinear simulation of a cargo truck crossing rough ground. The random vertical vibration of two linear models of a sprung mass with a passenger on seat is numerically solved. The input signal has a power spectrum of a real road. The acceleration of the passenger is frequency-weighted according to two various criteria. The gain in comfort obtained by lowering the natural frequency of the sprung mass is calculated along with the dynamic and static spring deflections. In addition, a solution of the vibration of the unsprung mass with evaluation of a possible improvement is presented.  相似文献
