Research purposes: Based on Maxwell equations and T-type equivalent circuit of linear induction motor, we analyze the electromagnetic thrust output of a double-sided linear induction motor in the case of edge effect, and use the finite element method and simulation to test the effectiveness of the theoretical calculation. We further derivate the mathematical expressions of a double-sided linear induction motor, build the simulation model by parameter design, and experimentally analyze the slip frequency control thrust output in conditions of different operating. Through analysis of the output characteristics of the electromagnetic force, optimal control of constant current slip frequency is achieved. Research conclusions: (1) We calculate various mechanical properties of a bilateral linear induction motor through its mathematical model and equivalent circuit, and derive the corrected coefficients of the horizontal and vertical edge effect. When the motor runs at a high speed, the edge effect has little influence on the output of the electromagnetic force. (2) We use the finite element computer software to establish the simulation model of a bilateral linear induction motor, and compare the theoretical calculation and simulation data: the simulation results are consistent with theoretical calculation, thus ensuring the validity of the mathematical model. (3) We simulate and analyze the influence of slip frequency, speed, suspension air gap, and length of the mover on electromagnetic force. At different speeds, properly adjusting the slip frequency can increase the output of electromagnetic force. For low speed, the optimal slip frequency is near 2 Hz; for high speed, the optimal slip frequency is between 4.0 Hz and 6.0 Hz. When satisfying the motor's rated condition, the optimal control of electromagnetic force is achieved. (4) The research result of double-sided linear induction motor can provide important implications for the electromagnetic launch system of an aircraft carrier. 相似文献

A novel hybrid control approach is presented for trajectory tracking control of unmanned underwater vehicles in this paper. The kinematic and dynamic controllers are integrated by the proposed control strategy. The paper has two objectives. Firstly, an improved backstep method is proposed to generate the virtual velocity using a bio-inspired neurodynamics model in the kinematic controller. The bio-inspired neurodynamics model is intended to smooth the virtual velocity output to avoid speed jumps of the unmanned underwater vehicle caused by tracking errors and to meet the thruster control constraints. Secondly, a new sliding-mode method is added to the dynamic controller, which is robust against parameter inaccuracy and disturbances. The combined kinematic–dynamic control law is applied to the trajectory tracking problem of two different types of unmanned underwater vehicle. A linear-quadratic optimal controller is proposed for vehicle start-up, which is designed as a linear feedback form of the states and the measured (estimated) disturbances. The requirements of less friction loss and less driveline shock are represented by the weighting matrices of the cost function. The driver’s intension is also considered and the controller gains are adjusted on-line accordingly. The designed control strategy is tested on a complete powertrain simulation model. Through large amount of simulations, it is verified that the system is robust to the variations of driving conditions, such as variation of vehicle mass and road grade. It is also shown that the control performance is influenced greatly by the estimation error of engine torque and clutch torque, and the acceptable level of mean estimation error is about ±10%. 相似文献

A method to form a homogeneous mixture using low pressure direct injection of liquid phase LPG, pent-roof combustion chamber, flat-top piston and center-located injector layout is presented. To validate the method, the mixture formation processes in the cylinder were investigated using the CFD code. The effect of different injection timing and engine loads on the mixture formation processes were researched. The simulated results showed that, the intake tumble for high load conditions or the inclined intake swirl for part load conditions would break into small-scale vortex (turbulence) near the end of compression stroke, which enhanced the homogeneous mixture formation. The results also showed that if the liquid phase LPG was injected at 60–80°CA ATDC in intake stroke even at different loads, the homogeneous mixture would be formed under any engine load conditions. 相似文献

Summary A theoretical model is developed to explore the high frequency wheel/rail interaction with coupling between the vertical and lateral directions. This coupling is introduced through the track dynamics due to the offset of the wheel/rail contact point from the rail centre line. Equivalent models of the railway track in the time domain are developed according to the rail vibration receptances in the frequency domain. The wheel is represented by a mass in each direction with no vertical-lateral coupling. The vertical wheel/rail interaction is generated through a non-linear Hertzian contact stiffness, allowing for the possibility of loss of contact between the wheel and rail. The lateral interaction is represented by a contact spring and a creep force damper in series and their values depend on the vertical contact force. The vibration source is the roughness on the wheel and rail contact surfaces which forms a relative displacement excitation in the vertical direction. Using the combined interaction model with this relative displacement excitation, the wheel/rail interactions with coupling between the vertical and lateral vibrations are simulated. It is found that the lateral interaction force caused by the offset is usually less than thirty percent of the vertical dynamic force. The lateral vibration of the rail is significantly reduced due to the presence of the lateral coupling, whereas the vertical interaction is almost unaffected by the lateral force. 相似文献
