Although panels offer significant advantages over cross sectional data especially in terms of evaluating the effects of significant
policy changes, there are precious few examples of panels built around an important change to an urban transport system. For
this reason we took the opportunity of the introduction of Transantiago, a radically new public transport system for Santiago
de Chile in February 2007, to form a panel, the first wave of which was taken in December 2006. The final objective was to
use this Santiago Panel to estimate mode choice models considering both inertia and policy effects. This document describes both the design and construction
of the panel, and presents some results based on an analysis of its four waves; for example, we registered a high percentage
of mode change (55.1%) attributable to the introduction of the new system. The panel can claim the highest response rate (or
lowest attrition) reported in the literature (95% in the second wave, 92% in the third one, and 85% in the forth one). This
hints at the possibility of developing sophisticated models to evaluate the effects of a system shock in the presence of inertia

A model of traveller behaviour should recognise the exogenous and endogenous factors that limit the choice set of users. These factors impose constraints on the decision maker, which constraints may be considered implicitly, as ass="EmphasisTypeItalic ">soft constraints imposing thresholds on the perception of changes in attribute values, or explicitly as ass="EmphasisTypeItalic ">hard constraints. The purpose of this paper is twofold: (1) To present a constrained nested logit-type choice model to cope with hard constraints. This model is derived from the entropy-maximizing framework. (2) To describe a general framework to deal with (dynamic) non-linear utilities. This approach is based on Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Spaces. The resulting model allows the dynamic aspect and the constraints on the choice process to be represented simultaneously. A novel estimation procedure is introduced in which the utilities are viewed as the parameters of the proposed model instead of attribute weights as in the classical linear models. A discussion on over-specification of the proposed model is presented. This model is applied to a synthetic test problem and to a railway service choice problem in which users choose a service depending on the timetable, ticket price, travel time and seat availability (which imposes capacity constraints). Results show (1) the relevance of incorporating constraints into the choice models, (2) that the constrained models appear to be a better fit than the counterpart unconstrained choice models; and (3) the viability of the approach, in a real case study of railway services on the Madrid–Seville corridor (Spain). 相似文献

随着发动机使用时间的增加,元器件老化和参数漂移等因素导致发动机的特性map与发动机系统不匹配,使得发动机的扭矩输出性能下降.针对map与发动机系统不匹配的问题,本文基于map/机理混合描述的汽油发动机模型,在双闭环气路控制系统的基础上,以扭矩-进气量转换map为例,设计了PID控制器对期望的进气流量进行动态补偿,从而使得汽油机的实际输出扭矩满足期望的发动机扭矩需求.最后,利用高保真的四缸进气道喷射汽油机仿真模型(enDYNA)进行了仿真实验,仿真结果验证了基于PID控制器补偿方法的有效性. 相似文献

在列车自动过分相时,牵引变压器产生的激磁涌流通过母排、轮对和钢轨回流到变电所,而在这个过程中激磁涌流可能会对应答器上行链路信号产生干扰.激磁涌流对应答器上行链路干扰的途径是应答器接收天线的耦合,要清楚了解其干扰,必须了解激磁涌流4.23 MHz附近信号分量,因此对激磁涌流高频信号的分析是非常有必要的.本文用Matlab软件对激磁涌流进行了仿真得到其仿真数据.然后,用LabWindows/CVI软件进行仿真数据加载并且对激磁涌流进行短时傅里叶变换(STFT),得到激磁涌流4.23 MHz附近信号分量.最后,用FEKO软件进行激磁涌流对应答器上行链路信号的干扰仿真.研究结果表明激磁涌流含有4.23 MHz附近信号分量较小,不会对应答器上行链路信号产生干扰. 相似文献

Interchanges are key elements for improving seamless mobility in metropolitan areas where multi-stages trips are increasing. Interchange facilities make transfers short, easy and comfortable, and therefore Public Transport (PT) trips became more attractive and competitive. However, good quality interchanges are rather expensive, especially with regard to construction and operation. The solution launched in Madrid was a public-private scheme where all stakeholders involved play a key role. The first experience was Avenida America Interchange in the border of Madrid CBD, which opened in 2000. The construction was carried out through a Build and Operate and Transfer (BOT) tender. Three public bodies were involved: Municipality, Regional Government and Public Transport Authority. The concessionaire was a company constituted by a transport operator, several construction companies and a national bank. The revenues came from a fee which pays every bus using the facility, some shops, two parking lots, and other business. This positive experience has been extended to the construction of four new interchanges that were inaugurated in the years 2007 and 2008. 相似文献

PAntograph–Catenary Dynamic Interaction (PACDIN) is a code developed by the vehicle technology research centre (CITV) of the Universitat Politècnica de València in collaboration with the railway company Talgo S.L. The model of the catenary is a finite element model using absolute nodal coordinates. It is based on a general formulation that can be applied for analysing a wide range of catenary configurations, including stitch wire, transitions or non-straight path tracks. The formulation is fully non-linear and includes large deformations, dropper slackening and contact interaction. The model is linearised when deformations are small, as in the case of the benchmark dynamic analysis. The results of the PACDIN code show a good agreement with the average results of other benchmark codes. 相似文献

Many marine protected areas (MPAs) face a multitude of threats to the ecosystems that they have been established to conserve. This study is based on 111 interviews conducted in 2013–2014 designed to discover the perceptions of stakeholders about the threats, the causes of the threats, and their responses to the threats, to a well-established MPA – Cabo de Palos - Islas Hormigas (CPH-MPA). This MPA was created to safeguard fisheries and the associated artisanal fishers, but over time it has become a tourism “hotspot.” Resilience theory, which incorporates ecological resilience, social resilience, and individual resilience, helps us to analyze stakeholders' responses to threats by categorizing them into passive, adaptive, and transformative responses. We found respondents identified four main threats – over-fishing, excessive scuba diving, pollution, and invasive species; attributed the threats to three main causes – ineffective management, poor environmental stewardship, and climate change; and expressed three kinds of responses – do nothing, adapt, or transform – with a preference for adaptation and (especially) transformation. The lesson of this study is that it shows how, unless drastic action is taken to curb recreational diving activities, the CPH-MPA is in danger of changing from a fishing reserve to a largely unregulated leisure diving venue, which is unlikely to fulfill the requirements of resilience; ecological, social, or individual. 相似文献

Summary A flat track tire testing machine developed by the IMMa group is described. It permits the simulation and study of the dynamic behavior of a great variety of tires under controllable and repetitive highly dynamic realistic working conditions in the laboratory for a diversity of vehicles, from motorcycles to light trucks. The machine incorporates: - a hydraulically operated tire support and loading system with wide operating ranges; - a computer controlled brake system to simulate braking maneuvers with ABS systems; - a complete sensorial system; - a data acquisition and control system continually monitoring and acting on the experimental variables, i.e., tire and belt speed, longitudinal slip, slip and camber angles, tire pressure, tire normal force, etc. As an application example, results are presented that adjust the parameter of the magic formula for a standard 175/70 R14 passenger vehicle tire. Accurate mathematical tire models are recognized as essential for the prediction of vehicle dynamic performances using simulation tools. 相似文献
