A Dynamic Job Scheduling Algorithm for Parallel System

One of the fundamental problems in parallel and distributed systems is deciding how to allocate jobs to processors. The goals of job scheduling in a parallel environment are to minimize the parallel execution time of a job and try to balance the user‘s desire with the system‘s desire. The users always want their jobs be completed as quickly as possible, while the system wants to service as many jobs as possible. In this paper, a dynamic job-scheduling algorithm was introduced. This algorithm tries to utilize the information of a practical system to allo-cate the jobs more evenly. The communication time between the processor and scheduler is overlapped with the computation time of the processor. So the communication overhead can he little. The principle of scheduling the job is based on the desirability of each processor. The scheduler would not allocate a new job to a processor that is already fully utilized. The execution efficiency of the system will he increased. This algorithm also can he reused in other complex algorithms.

Scale-Free Behavior in Weighted Stock Network

A weighted stock network model of stock market is presented based on the complex network theory. The model is a weighted random network, in which each vertex denotes a stock, and the weight assigned to each edge is the cross-correlation coefficient of returns. Analysis of A shares listed at Shanghai Stock Exchange finds that the influence-strength (IS) follows a power-law distribution with the exponent of 2.58. The empirical analysis results show that there are a few stocks whose price fluctuations can powerfully influence the price dynamics of other stocks in the same market. Further econometric analysis reveals that there are significant differences between the positive IS and the negative IS.

季节性冰冻地区公路边坡侵蚀破坏模式

针对季节性冰冻地区的路基边坡冻融滑坍破坏现象,分析了公路边坡破坏的各种侵蚀模式和影响因素。采用坡面流拖曳力法、坡面流量法等对坡面水力学特征进行研究,测算坡面冲刷临界坡度值,分析临界坡度与冲刷量之间的关系;同时采用有效应力法研究了冻融作用下的边坡安全稳定性。结果表明：季节性冰冻地区粘性土最大冲刷强度对应的临界坡度与目前常用的坡度值很接近或交叉,为减少水土流失,建议放缓土质边坡;边坡土体冻结前含水质量分数和融化后抗剪强度下降幅度是影响冻融滑坍破坏的主要因素,建议在设计中要考虑冲刷和冻融因素,并对特殊土质边坡进行相应的物理力学指标检测和稳定性验算。

目的 比较氨氯地平与苯那普利对老年原发性高血压的治疗作用。方法 入选轻中度原发性高血压病人随机分为两组,氨氯地平组３９例,口服氨氯地平５ｍｇ每日１次;苯那普利组３６例,口服苯那普利每日１０ｍｇ,上午７点服用;每日１次,治疗结束时对两组病人服药前后比较血压。结果 治疗高血压,氨氯地平起效慢,苯那普利起效较快,但副反应均小。结论 长效制剂氨氯地平、苯那普利治疗老年高血压疗效确切,服用方便,副作用少,可
