Symptom monitoring in treatment of cancer patients

Objective To examine self-reported symptoms by the patients receiving cancer therapy, and find out the symptoms that should be coped with and managed during the treatment. Methods A pilot study was conducted on self-reported symptoms on 185 patients receiving chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy for different cancers. The Therapy-Related Symptoms Checklist (TRSC) was used. Results Severe symptoms on the TRSC subscales: loss of appetite,feeling sluggish, weight loss, nausea and hair loss, were reported by the patients. The frequently reported symptoms by those on chemotherapy were nausea, feeling sluggish, weight loss, vomiting, and taste change. The frequently reported symptoms by those on radiotherapy were feeling sluggish, weight loss, loss of appetite, difficult sleeping, and changing taste. The symptoms of loss of appetite, feeling sluggish, weight loss, hair loss, and nausea were both frequently reported by those on radiotherapy and those on chemotherapy. Conclusion Symptom monitoring may be facilitated by TRSC, based on the severity and frequency of reported symptoms, more patients and caregivers could know which symptoms should be preferential interventions.     

雁型分流坝航道整治效果研究

在长时间的运行过程中,天然分汊航道容易出现泥沙淤积、航道变形及河口区后方浅滩冲刷等问题。针对天然分汊航道,融入"生态水利"的治理理念,创新设计了一种雁型分流坝航道整治建筑物,并对其可行性进行试验研究及分析论证。通过与传统的鱼骨坝的对比试验研究,雁型分流坝在分水及排沙方面性能更优;通过位置布置、结构构造的率定试验,对雁型分流坝在实际工程中的应用进行优化。通过论证,雁型分流坝航道治理方案在技术、经济及稳定性方面均可行,同时也可推广至河道治理、河湖整治及有相关要求的景观工程。     

大学英语教师专业发展的新解读

本文通过分析新时期社会对人才英语能力的实际需求和大学英语教学的改革方向，指出在新时期大学英语教师专业发展的新内容主要体现在非英语专业知识的补充和信息素养的提升两方面，并进行了分析、探讨。     

The impact of marine engine operation and maintenance on emissions

This paper examines the role of marine engine maintenance in reducing pollution. It tests four marine diesel engines, one constructed prior to January 1, 2000 and three after 2000. This paper explains how the condition of an engine’s nozzles and faulty injection pressure significantly influence NO_x and CO emissions and describes both bench and onboard ship tests, on engines fitted with new or worn nozzles at different injection pressures. The tests showed that, when the engine constructed prior to 2000 operates under normal in-service conditions, the emissions are within limits, but, with a small fault in injection timing, the NO_x emissions exceed the limits. For the engines constructed after 2000, a fault in the maintenance of the nozzles increases the CO emissions to a high level.     

含参数λ的Bessel方程边值问题的相似结构

针对带参数λ的Bessel方程在定值、封闭右边界条件及第三类左边界条件下的边值问题,通过对其解式的分析和细致的研究,发现了解式的相似结构.该解式的相似结构形式对某些油藏渗流模型的简化及编制相应的分析软件具有极其重要的意义.     

软土层中管棚法施工某地下通道中的数值计算

管棚法的设计多依赖于经验和工程类比,常用的设计理论多用于定性分析。数值模拟可以对管棚法设计进行量化分析。鉴于此,结合软土地区某浅埋地下通道工程,采用数值计算分析管棚和格栅在CRD法施工中的内力和弯矩,并提出针对危险工况采取相应的措施。     

目标教学在高职高专英语教学中的运用

本文结合我院开展大学英语目标教学一年来的经验与教训,以教育心理学家布卢姆的教育理论为指导,对如何在高职高专院校中开展大学英语目标教学展开讨论。     

电机变频试验电源网络系统

电机变频试验电源网络系统具有控制设备数量多，控制系统复杂，运行环境恶劣等特点，要求该网络系统具有高通信速率，运行稳定、可靠，易于扩展。文章介绍的基于Profibus-DP的电机变频试验电源网络系统，能对电机变频试验电源及其配套设备运行状态进行实时监控和故障诊断。该系统已用于国内某电机厂大型电机试验站，获得很好的应用效果。     

城市轨道交通网络化应急抢险资源优化配置

对地铁应急站的具体选址进行了研究。其中，针对城市轨道交通网络化运营应急抢险要求，分析了网络化应急资源配置的影响因素，探讨了应急资源优化配置的流程、运营风险的评估、交通系统脆弱性和应急站选址方法。
