A novel hybrid optimal algorithm for DC motor of electro-mechanical Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) is presented. It combines non-linear time optimal controller and optimal Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) consequently used at different shifting stages. The working principle and dynamic characteristics of the AMT system are firstly presented, and the model of the DC motor is analyzed in detail. The non-linear time optimal controller is designed to explore the potential of the motor and minimize the gear shifting time. While the optimal LQR is then adopted at the final shifting stage to avoid overshoot and increase system robustness. Based on the position control algorithm of the actuators, the coordinated shifting control strategy is also proposed. Both simulation and vehicle test results demonstrate that, this control algorithm could decrease the shifting time and improve the shift quality effectively. 相似文献

Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs) facilitate the broadcasting of status information among vehicles. In the IEEE 802.11p/WAVE vehicle network environment, the strict periodic beacon broadcasting of safety messages requires status advertisement to assist drivers in maintaining safety. The beacon broadcasting is required for real-time communication, and for avoiding the degradation of communication channels in high vehicular density situations. However, a periodic safety beacon in the IEEE 802.11p/WAVE standard can only transmit packets on a single channel using the MAC protocol. In high vehicular density situations, the channel becomes overloaded, thereby increasing the probability of beacon collision, and hence reducing the influx of successfully received beacons, which increases the delay. Many studies have indicated that appropriate congestion control algorithms are essential to provide efficient operation of a network. In this paper, to avoid beacon congestion, we have considered game theoretic models of wireless medium access control (MAC) where each transmitter makes individual decisions regarding their power level or transmission probability. We have evaluated the equilibrium transmission strategies of both the selfish and the cooperative user. In such a game-theoretic study, the central question is whether Bayesian Nash equilibrium (BNE) exists, and if so, whether the network operates efficiently at the equilibrium point. We proved that there exists only one BNE point in our game and validated our result using simulation. The performance of the proposed scheme is illustrated with the help of simulation results. 相似文献

As growing demand of vehicle safety system, especially regarding intelligent transport systems (ITS), automotive manufacturers are focusing more on driving safety and efficient transportation for vehicle users. Many safety systems have been launched in the market recently so, it is important to evaluate the vehicle safety systems and ITS. The ITS based intelligent vehicle test bed was constructed to meet the growing demand of test and verification for such ADAS and ITS systems. First, this paper describes in detail concept of the test-bed. This test-bed is carefully designed to meet the requirements of ISO/TC204 standards. In order to verify the design of the test-bed, virtual test with driving siulator was processed on a virtual test tracks. This paper deals with friction-induced vibration of a disc brake system with a constant friction coefficient. A linear, lumped,

experimental modal test and dynamometer test are performed. The comparison of experimental and theoretical results shows good

squeal type instability is investigated, using a parametric analysis. This indicates which parameters have influence on the
propensity of brake squealing. This is helpful for validating the analysis model and establishing confidence in the experimental

This paper has been developed in the framework of the alternative beam T-junction solution previously propoused by the authors (Alcalá et al., 2013), with the scope of optimizing the behavior of buses and coaches upper structures modeled with beam type elements. The alternative beam T-junction model proposed by the authors, had a total of six elastic elements at the junction level allowing to modify the localized rigidity of any modeled T-junctions, therefore improving their behavior and avoiding the well known rigidity issue these elements have. A fundamental aspect behind the use of these alternative beam models is related to the necessity of correctly estimating the rigidity values of the elastic elements for each modeled T-junction. In this context, we propose applying a surrogate model for the reference calculations which is based on statistical Bayesian kriging predictors. Statistical predictions have the added value, with respect to deterministic solutions, of providing a quantification of uncertainty. The development of the kriging predictors has required the application of a statistical methodology including computer experiment design, computation of moments of inertia, graphical and ANOVA type sensitivity analysis and Monte Carlo computation of Bayesian inference. The results of the application have been a very satisfactory trade-off between accuracy of approximation (prediction) and computational cost. The surrogate kriging models also provide an useful tool for a better understanding of the input-output relationships involved in the reference computations. 相似文献

The ESC system, since its introduction in the mid 90s, has greatly contributed to prevention of vehicle accidents with its capability of maintaining vehicle stability in severe driving conditions. Due to its significant advantages, many nations are now adopting regulations that mandate installation of the ESC system in all classes of passenger vehicles — from mini to luxury. Accordingly it became important to know whether an ESC ECU can yield good performance on a wide range of vehicle parameter changes. In this paper, robustness analysis was conducted to study how characteristic variation of the main chassis components affect the performance of the ESC ECU. This analysis was carried out using a HILS system built on an actual ESC ECU. The variation range of each chassis component was carefully selected considering the component’s design criteria adopted in automotive industries. In a modern society, traffic congestion is a major problem in every metropolis. To solve the problem of traffic congestion an innovative omni-directional vehicle is proposed. This research has mainly focussed on developing the comprehensive vehicle dynamics model for an omni-directional road vehicle. Then the stability of the vehicle in the yaw plane was analysed under different scenarios based on the response of the side slip angle. This paper introduces a method to detect abnormality of MGS (Motor-Generator System) in HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) using its temperature. The MGS in HEV consists of two Motor-Generators (MG1, MG2), Compound Gear Unit, and etc. The MG1 is to act as a generator in conventional internal combustion engine. And the MG2 is an electric motor to rotate wheel of vehicle using saved electricity in battery or using produced electricity via the MG1. In case of overheating, the electric motors are easily damaged because resistance of wires in motor is abnormally changed. Therefore, detection of abnormally changed temperature in motors (MG1 and MG2) is essential. In this study, the temperature distribution of two Motor-Generators is observed simultaneously in 2-dimensional space. A boundary region of normal operation temperature of two motors is obtained via SVDD technique utilizing Gaussian kernel, one of the most widely being used Mercer kernels. Linear SVDD technique generates boundary of exact ball shape, however SVDD technique using Gaussian kernel can generate nonlinear boundary of distorted ball shape. Abnormality boundary comparison is made between the obtained boundary via SVDD technique and those obtained from conventional temperature range checking method. In order to compare the performance of proposed method, the actual vehicle operation data in excessive driving condition on mountain road is adopted. In verification, simulation shows that warning time due to proposed method is faster and more efficient than those due to conventional method. It is also shown that the reliability of the Motor-Generator System can be improved by using the proposed abnormality detection method. 相似文献

There is growing interest in establishing additional evidence, under the umbrella of the wider economy impacts of transport infrastructure projects, to support transport projects in general and public transport projects in particular that struggle to obtain benefit–cost ratios sufficient to gain the support of financial agencies. This paper focuses on one element of wider economy impacts, often referred to as effective economic (employment) density or employment agglomeration impacts, and another, less usually identified, social accessibility impact (SAI) which we refer to as effective social density, which in broad terms provide, correspondingly, evidence of the potential gains in work-related output (often referred to as productivity gains) and potential gains in non-work-related outputs. Both are associated with gains in individual and household benefit attributable to improved accessibility to services linked with populations and particular locations. The SAIs may capture some of the induced benefits in those jurisdictions where these are included routinely in benefit–cost analysis, and the methodology here is most appropriate to those settings where an existing calibrated demand curve may not be available. Using the proposed high speed rail (HSR) project between Sydney and Melbourne as the empirical setting, we identify economic agglomeration and social accessibility benefits for work and non-work related activity respectively. We find the former to be relatively small compared to the significant gains associated with non-work related travel activity, suggesting the greatest benefits associated with HSR, especially for those residents outside of the major metropolitan areas, will be non-work related travel activity. 相似文献

Research purposes: The transverse deformation of shield tunnel may deeply threaten the safety of tunnel structure. Excessive deformation may lead segment joints to open and leak and segments to craze. The deformation may even cause insufficient cross-section limit and the missing of structural-load-carrying capacity of the tunnel. On the other hand, it costs a lot to repair and reinforce the shield tunnel. In order to determine the proper moment to repair segments and ensure the safety of tunnel structure as well as economical efficiency, it is necessary to study the deformation law and limit value of the transverse section of the tunnel. Research conclusions: Based on the analysis of the influencing factors to causing the transverse deformation, the following conclusions was proposed: (1) The root of transverst deformation is increase of vertical and horizontal load ratio. (2)The shield tunnel properties of Nanjing Metro Line 2 was adapted to analyze the relationship between the variation of tunnel horizontal diameter andmaximum rate of joint opening, tress rate of both bolt and concrete using numerical simulation, furthermore the controlled limit value of transverse deformationwas got, the bolt tress achieve maximal strength when the variation of tunnel horizontal diameter reach 123 mm for sequential segment seams, and 127 mm for staggeredsegment seams, which means severely threaten to the safety of shield tunnel. Finally the precontrol and governance methodswere delivered to different influencing factors.
