Two degree of freedom flow-induced vibration of cylindrical structures in marine environments: frequency ratio effects

The flow-induced vibration of a cylindrical structure is a very common problem in marine environments such as undersea pipelines, offshore risers, and cables. In this study, the vortex-induced vibration (VIV) of an elastically mounted cylinder at a low Reynolds number is simulated by a transient coupled fluid–structure interaction numerical model. Considering VIV with low damping ratio, the response, hydrodynamic forces, and vortex shedding modes of the cylinder is systematically analyzed and summed up the universal rule under different frequency ratios. On the basis of the analysis, we find that the frequency ratio α is a very important parameter. It decides the locked-in, beat, and phase-switch phenomena of the cylinder, meanwhile, it also influence the vortex mode of the cylinder. The trajectory of the two degrees of freedom (2 DOF) case at different natural frequency ratios is discussed, with most trajectories having a “figure of 8” shape and a few having a “crescent” shape. A fast Fourier transformation technique is used to obtain the frequency characteristics of the vibration of the cylindrical structure. Using the 2 DOF cylinder model in place of the 1 DOF model presents several advantages in simulating the nonlinear characteristics of cylindrical structures, including the capacity to model the crosswise vibration generated by in-line vibration.

艰险山区铁路桥隧工程技术接口管理成熟度评价研究

艰险山区环境恶劣、地质复杂,使得铁路桥隧工程施工技术难度高、施工周期长,导致技术接口多、管理难度大.为实现对桥隧工程技术接口科学有效的管理,提出一种基于变权-靶心贴近度的艰险山区铁路桥隧工程技术接口管理成熟度评价模型.利用WSR系统方法对技术接口问题进行分析,构建铁路桥隧工程技术接口管理综合评价指标体系,并通过变权综合模型为指标赋权.运用靶心贴近度模型确定桥隧工程技术接口管理成熟度.以藏木雅鲁藏布江特大桥与安拉隧道为例,用该模型评估其技术接口管理成熟度等级,并借助雷达图直观反映技术接口管理水平.通过本文研究为艰险山区铁路桥隧工程技术接口管理提供了新思路.

Application of digital image correlation method to in-situ dynamic strain measurement

Application of digital image correlation (DIC) method to determination of in-situ dynamic strain is presented in this study. Firstly, an integrative software is programmed based on the DIC algorithms and point-wise least-squares fitting technique. Then, simulated speckle images are generated to study the computational accuracy of this software. The experimental setup and procedures for measuring in-situ dynamic strain through both DIC and strain gauge are proposed. The DIC results are close to those measured by strain gauge. This fact reveals that DIC is a practical and effective tool for in-situ dynamic strain measurement. Finally, the full-field in-situ dynamic strain of another specimen is measured by DIC, and the overall distribution of the strain in the measurement area is clearly shown.     

管道惯性测绘系统研制及应用

针对管道中心线地理坐标信息的测量需求,基于惯性导航原理,研制了以管道内检测器为载体的管道中心线测绘内检测设备,并将其与漏磁内检测器结合进行工程应用。选取了5处已知点对测绘结果进行了验证,测绘结果和实际验证结果表明:研制的惯性导航内检测器能够准确测绘管道中心线轨迹坐标,在校验点间距约为2 km时,5个距校验点约1 km的已知点的平均测绘误差约为1.8 m;通过将惯性导航检测器与漏磁检测器的组合使用,可有效获取管道缺陷的地理坐标信息,提高了管道内检测缺陷检测定位的精度。

基于SoftPLC的船舶主机遥控物理仿真模拟器设计

模拟器以一艘1600 TEU集装箱船使用的Autochief IV主机控制系统作为原型,采用SoftPLC实现对船舶主机遥控物理仿真模拟器的控制。利用组态软件PIMS作为上位机开发平台,实现数据的存储及功能的完善。在模拟器上可以进行各种相关的训练操作,达到培训学员的目的。
