The district modified stiffness method (DMSM) considers the effect of joints and hand holes on the stiff-ness of the lining ring, assuming the stiffness around the joint and hand hole is to be reduced and the stiffness else-where is not changed. Considering the stiffness reduction of the lining ring caused by the segment’s circumferential joint, the internal force of the lining structure, the ground surface settlement and the displacement response of the surrounding soil body induced by shield driving are analyzed by an HS small strain constitutive model, and a 3D FEM model is established to analyze the interactions among the tunnel, soil body and building to apply to the dou-ble-line running tunnel of Shanghai Metro Line 11, which crosses under a historic building. In contrast, a 3D numeri-cal model based on the routine method (RMM) is set up and a comparison with the site measured data is conducted,with results indicating that they agree very well. The simulation results show that the existing building not only changes the surface settlement trough but also largely reduces horizontal displacement at the corresponding measuring points of the settlement trough; the distortion values of the existing building are related to the positions of the tunnel face and the location of the building; and the final distortion doesn’t decrease after completion of tunnel construction, but major residual distortion remains. The shield tunnel is an ultra-long linear space. It will cause a lot of dust during the tunnel maintenance and overhaul operation, which is extremely unfavorable to the physical and mental health of the construction personnel and the environment outside the tunnel. It is difficult to guarantee the ventilation effect of the linear space using the conventional dust removal technology, which directly affects the construction safety and overhaul period. Therefore, based on the overhaul of a cross-river tunnel in Shanghai, combined with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation, device optimization and process combination, a three-stage dust reduction standardization process for tunnel overhaul construction is proposed, namely taking a water sprayer at the working point to control the dust at the source (primary protection); installing electrostatic dust removal and water filtration dust removal equipment in the tunnel(secondary protection); and installing two sets of water curtain spray device at the two tunnel exits to prevent dusts from diffusing into the atmosphere. The new Badaling tunnel is the longest tunnel on the under-construction Beijing-Zhangjiakou highspeedrailway, with the Badaling Great Wall station to be built in the tunnel. This station, which is under the Badaling Great Wall historic site, is the world’s largest underground high-speed railway station with the most complicated structure and the largest overburden and excavation area. It is therefore a representative project for China’s highspeed railway development strategy, supporting infrastructure facilities for the Beijing Horticultural Expo 2019 and the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, and it is important that it be of high quality and completed safely. In the de-sign and construction of the station, the glyphs of the Chinese characters of "中",”国”,”人”and”品”are used, re-spectively, along the station route, in the rescue and evacuation mode, auxiliary adit and partial excavation, which is a way to successfully integrate the art of Chinese characters into tunnel engineering. © 2018, Editorial Office of "Modern Tunnelling Technology". Light distribution (LD) and installation style of luminaires affect the utilization factor (UF) of luminaires, and the UF affects the luminaire power and road pavement illuminance and further the power consumption of illu- minating system and the luminous effect of road pavement. An UF model of tunnel lighting was established based on the luminaire LD data and installation parameters, in which four LD styles were adopted. For each LD the parame- ters optimization and simulation were conducted regarding four installation styles, e.g. central style, offset-of-vault style, symmetric style and staggered style. The energy-saving and the lighting effects of each LD and luminaire in- stallation style at the tunnel middle zone were studied. The results show that symmetric luminaire installation is the most energy-saving style and has the best lighting effect than the other three luminaire installation styles; the lighting effect of central luminaire installation is the second best; staggered luminaire installation is the most energy-intensive style and has the worst lighting effect except for some special-shaped LD; waterdrop-shaped LD is the most suitable one along transverse direction of tunnel and applicable to the central, offset-of-vault and symmetric luminaire instal- lation styles; symmetric butterfly-shaped LD is the most suitable one along longitudinal direction of tunnel and appli- cable to the central, offset-of-vault, staggered and symmetric luminaire installation styles; with waterdrop-shaped LD along transverse direction and symmetric butterfly-shaped LD along longitudinal direction, they are suitable for the above four luminaire installation styles, and have better energy-saving and lighting effect; as for the LD with symmetric and oblique curve, it’s better for the profile of oblique luminaire distribution to be comply with that along tunnel transverse direction, and it is suitable for the symmetric and offset-of-vault luminaire installation styles. © 2018, Editorial Office of "Modern Tunnelling Technology". This paper focuses on recent experiences in the evolution of Flexible Transport Services (FTS). It describes how previous manifestations of FTS provided dedicated solutions for special groups, often in parallel to the conventional public transport network, but highlights that in numerous countries across Europe there is now a discernable trend towards open access FTS providing services for the whole community and often feeding the conventional public transport network to provide wider access and opportunities. This is as a result of policies intended to mainstream services for people with disabilities and moves to tackle social exclusion amongst other groups while at the same time reducing the very high costs per trip associated with STS.To meet these policies, and the higher expectations and different travel behaviours of citizens to-day, it is suggested that FTS will need to radically reposition itself in terms of scale, so that there is mass coverage and ability to function as a full transport mode. This will require breakthroughs in concepts; business models; organisational and operational models; and in supporting technologies. A proposed solution to this is the Flexible Agency for Collective Mobility Services (FAMS) which provides an organisational structure and business model for FTS that incorporates the required supporting technologies. 相似文献

This paper proposes a new activity-based transit assignment model for investigating the scheduling (or timetabling) problem
of transit services in multi-modal transit networks. The proposed model can be used to generate the short-term and long-term
timetables of multimodal transit lines for transit operations and service planning purposes. The interaction between transit
timetables and passenger activity-travel scheduling behaviors is captured by the proposed model, as the activity and travel
choices of transit passengers are considered explicitly in terms of departure time choice, activity/trip chain choices, activity
duration choice, transit line and mode choices. A heuristic solution algorithm which combines the Hooke–Jeeves method and
an iterative supply–demand equilibrium approach is developed to solve the proposed model. Two numerical examples are presented
to illustrate the differences between the activity-based approach and the traditional trip-based method, together with comparison
on the effects of optimal timetables with even and uneven headways. It is shown that the passenger travel scheduling pattern
derived from the activity-based approach is significantly different from that obtained by the trip-based method, and that
a demand-sensitive (with uneven headway) timetable is more efficient than an even-headway timetable. 相似文献

In this paper we review freight forecasting models and current advances and needs with respect to data and model development.
We then present a case study to suggest which models should be developed for the State of California in the US. We suggest
several alternatives including an aggregate commodity flow model, a disaggregate regional logistics model and a hybrid regional
logistics model with a truck touring model. We point out however, that the data requirements for the latter model would be
extensive. In addition, the development of hybrid models, for example progress in the integration of regional logistics models
with urban truck touring models, will introduce new problems such as reconciling the outputs of multiple models for consistency. 相似文献

The propagation of fatigue cracks under constant amplitude cyclic loading was studied in welded stiffened steel plates. The residual stresses in the stiffened plates were measured using the neutron diffraction strain-scanning technique. A finite element model of the stiffened plate was constructed to simulate the residual stresses by an uncoupled thermal and thermo-mechanical analysis. Both the finite element model and the neutron diffraction measurements indicated that in general the residual stresses were tensile near the welded stiffeners and compressive between the stiffeners and ahead of the starter notch tip. Fatigue testing indicated that the fatigue crack growth rates of the stiffened plates were in general lower than that of a corresponding unstiffened plate, especially near the notch tip where compressive residual stresses existed. Both the finite element method and Green's function predicted the fatigue crack growth rates with reasonable accuracy. 相似文献

One of the most difficult and expensive tasks in making noise pollution maps is the collection and processing of the data needed to create acoustic models. In the case of road traffic noise maps, obtaining speed data for light and heavy vehicles a problem that has usually been avoided by using a road’s speed limit or by making assumptions based on experience from similar road types. Construction of high-speed railway lines (Lignes à Grande Vitesse — LGV in French) in France and in other European countries has brought considerable changes in railway accessibility for the areas linked to this fast transport network. The new stations on the high-speed lines take maximum advantage of such relational gains. However, mass transit access to these stations often constitutes a problem. Their locations, which are frequently exurban, are not determined by considerations involving efficient mass transit service links, and especially railway links. This situation creates difficulties for prior and subsequent passenger travel, and it means that the local players have to develop new access routes of variable quality. The present article puts forward a quality analysis covering territorial integration of high-speed railway stations via typology of the interactions between these new service points and the established stations in central locations. In a context marked by the increasing burdens placed on local authorities regarding financing for new high-speed railway infrastructures, we examine whether these changes in the players’ roles encourage enhanced consideration as to positioning of high-speed railway stations in relation to accessibility criteria for mass transit. 相似文献
