三峡变动回水区猪儿碛河段冲淤特性分析

猪儿碛河段位于三峡175 m运行变动回水区的中段,通过概化模型试验,模拟了2009年流量过程下该河段的冲淤特性,经分析认为该河段消落冲刷、汛期淤积、年内基本冲淤平衡。结合影响该河段冲淤的因素分析,探讨了利于变动回水区冲刷的三峡水库最佳消落时间,为同类研究提供了一定的参考。

高桩码头三维效应影响区域的缺陷检测分析

由于上部结构的影响,当采用低应变反射波法进行高桩码头桩基检测时,会出现不满足一维应力波基本假定的情况。利用LS—DYNA有限元软件模拟高桩码头群桩结构,发现桩顶以下10m深度范围内都会受到三维效应的严重影响,检测结果呈现出类似于浅部缺陷的特征。利用各种浅部缺陷的定位方法对该区域进行检测,得出纵波改进方法在该区域不再有效,只有结合扭转波检测等方法才能有效定位缺陷,对于实现高桩码头桩基质量的全面检测具有重要的借鉴意义。     

退役舰船回收拆解单位资质评估

舰船退役是舰船装备生命周期的最后阶段,回收拆解是退役舰船处理的主要方式。通过分析退役舰船回收处理的主要方法、回收拆解基本流程和主要技术要求,研究了退役舰船回收拆解单位资质评估问题,采用模糊综合评判法建立了退役舰船回收拆解单位资质评估模型,通过专家组对某大型退役舰船回收拆解单位资质的评价,对模型进行了仿真,给出了仿真结果,验证了模型的可行性,为退役舰船回收处理问题研究提供了一定的借鉴。

通过室内试验,研究了广梧高速公路煤系土的性能。得到煤系土抗剪强度与含水率的关系．以及煤系土凝聚力、内摩擦角在不同含水率下的变化关系。通过分析含水率对煤系土抗剪强度的影响．为工程中合理利用煤系土提供科学依据,也为进一步研究提供了基础。

Data-driven ferry network design with candidate service arcs: the case of Zhuhai Islands in China

ABSTRACT

We investigate a ferry network design problem with candidate service arcs (FNDP-SA), which is a new variant motivated by areal-world case from Zhuhai Islands. In this research, the design of a ferry schedule must conform to strict constraints including technical feasibility, safety issues, environmental impacts and moreover, avoid conflicting with ferries from neighboring cities (i.e. HongKong, Shenzhen and Macao). Therefore, a set of cautiously approved service arcs are firstly given, based on which the ferry service network is optimized. This study is among the first to formally describe the FNDP-SA and model it as an integer program. A hybrid variable neighborhood descent (VND)-based algorithm is developed. Two sets of instances are generated based on the case of Zhuhai Islands, where the first set is based on historical ticket sales data while the second set is derived by incorporating increased demands in the future according to a questionnaire survey. Numerical studies have shown that 59% cost reduction on the first set can be achieved by the proposed VND algorithm when compared with manual results. Research outcomes of this study have been adopted and implemented to facilitate the sustainable development of the ferry service of Zhuhai Islands.     

A study on adjustment factors for U-turns in left-turn lanes at signalized intersections

U-turns are treated as left-turns in the current procedures for estimating saturation flow rates at signalized intersections. While U-turning vehicles are usually mixed with left-turning vehicles in inside or left-turn lanes and conflict with opposing through traffic as left-turning vehicles, the vehicle operating characteristics are different. The objective of this paper is to investigate the effects of U-turns on the traffic flow in left-turn lanes. Field data of 600 headways of left-turning passenger cars and 160 headways of U-turning passenger cars are recorded. The average headways of U-turning passenger cars are found to be significantly larger than those of left-turning passenger cars. The effects of U-turning vehicles depend upon the percent of U-turning vehicles in the left-turn lane, as well as the order of formation in the traffic stream. Adjustment factors for varying percents of U-turning vehicles in left-turn lanes are established.
