Multimodal trip making, that is trips using a combination of several modes between origin and destination, is expected to be beneficial to society and might offer advantages to the traveler as well. This article looks at some of the implications of multi‐modality in trip making for the design of urban transit systems since these play an important role in multi‐modal transportation systems. In this respect, the article looks at the strategic design characteristics of urban transit networks, that is line density, stop density and service frequencies for the case of multimodal access to urban transit networks and for hierarchical network structures in urban transit systems. The analyses show that multimodal access does not require alternative network structures. For hierarchical network structures it is concluded that these are primarily determined by the hierarchy in demand densities and thus by hierarchy in urban structures. 相似文献

This paper describes new control methods for the active suspension. For improving ride comfort further, preview control rule is proposed. For improving stability further, roll stiffness distribution control rule is examined by the test vehicle. Simulations and vehicle driving tests are conducted to confirm the effect of these new control methods. The results of simulations and vehicle driving tests show in our research phase that preview control can achieve a substantial improvement in ride comfort and application of roll stiffness distribution control provides a large improvement in stability 相似文献

The lateral vehicle dynamics is defined by the effects of side forces at the front and rear axle. These forces are caused by the slip and camber angle at the individual tyres, which are results of the kinematics and compliances of the chassis. This paper extends the approach of the effective axle characteristics by Paceyka to the analytical expression of the axle cornering stiffness and the axle relaxation behaviour with the aim of the development of a chassis design process as it applies in the early design stage. The obtained expression is integrated into a single track model and validated against a full nonlinear two-track model. By this means of these analytical expressions for the axle cornering stiffness and the axle relaxation behaviour it is possible to directly calculate and analyse the effective slip angles for linear quasi-static and dynamic driving manoeuvres. 相似文献

This paper focuses on the way of keeping shift quality of automatic transmissions consistent in mass production and with mileage accumulation. We investigate the main factors influencing the consistency of shift quality. Test results show that the torque to pressure (T2P) and pressure to current (P2I) characteristics of shifting elements are easily affected. A simulation model of an 8-speed automatic transmission is established to simulate the dynamic process of clutch-to-clutch shift. Simulation results demonstrate that the change of T2P and P2I characteristics has a significant influence on shift quality. In order to compensate for the influences, we develop two adaptive control strategies, i.e., the adaptive control strategies for torque phase and inertia phase. They make use of the measured speed information and time information to evaluate shift quality. Then the control parameters are tuned to adapt to the change of T2P and P2I characteristics. Research purposes: With the advancement of system reform of China railway, the railway construction project is promoting the application of general contracting (EPC) model, and in this mode, how the owners effectively control the construction quality has become the focus of the current research. To explore of the key factors influencing quality of railway construction project, based on the owner's perspective, from the three stages of design, procurement and construction selecting 10 factors, the DEMATEL method is adopted to analyze the logical relationship between various factors and mutual influence, screening factors which have higher centrality and causality as the key factors affecting the quality of the owner engineering. Research conclusions:(1) The design port and interface management, the comprehensive strength of the construction companies have high centrality and causality, which are the key factors influencing quality of the EPC railway construction project. (2) The situation of carrying out periodic inspection work belongs to the factor with low centrality and high causality. In the process of improving quality of the EPC railway construction project, this factor can be the secondary consideration.
