In this paper, a hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) system was developed before the development of an electric power steering (EPS) system in a vehicle. This study was focused on the establishment of the HILS system. Driving conditions are simulated with the HILS system. The actual steering input parameters are confirmed on the monitor while driving the HILS system. The steering forces observed in the simulation with the developed HILS system are similar to those in real vehicle tests. The developed HILS system can be applied in the development of various types of EPS systems.  相似文献

Recently, the demands for improved fuel economy have been continually rising because of environmental protection policies, legislative pressures on emissions and increases in the price of oil. Reducing the friction power loss in a production engine may be regarded as one of the most effective technologies for improving fuel economy because the technology is cost effective and applicable to a great number of vehicles. This paper describes attempts to measure the torque needed to drive a camshaft and to examine the sources of the torque fluctuations in order to analyze the friction in valvetrains. The measurements were performed through a cam sprocket-type torquemeter, which was able to measure the torque of the valvetrain under actual engine operating conditions. In the cam torque measured, the fluctuations were mainly dependent on the primary oscillations caused by cam events and the secondary oscillations caused by the valvetrain natural frequency. The range of the fluctuations became greater at high speed because of the inertial mass. The resulting FMEP (friction mean effective pressure) of the valvetrain decreased, and the effective peak tension increased with an increase in the engine speed.  相似文献

This paper describes the development of a self-driving mobile welding robot. The robot is used to weld U-shaped welding areas in enclosed double-hull structures. In order to place itself inside the double-hull structure, the robot is capable of passing through an access hole 600 mm wide and 800 mm high. This research addresses the mechanical and control systems of the robot. The mechanical system of the robot consists of an eight-axis mobile platform, and a six-axis welding unit. The control system consists of a main controller, a welding machine controller (arc sensor board), and seam tracking sensors, i.e., a touch sensor, a laser sensor, and an arc sensor. To reduce the number of cables that would be dragged by the welding robot, the main controller is designed as an embedded type that is mounted on the back of the mobile platform.  相似文献

Co-managed territorial use rights for fishers (TURFs) have shown promise for small-scale fisheries management. The territorial use rights help clarify access and ownership rights, while co-management arrangements create formal relationships between fishers and government. However, there is limited research into the governance processes that influence the interactions and complementarities of TURF zones that are clustered together. In a network of 16 co-managed TURFs in the Cau Hai lagoon, Vietnam, we analyzed management decentralization and the relationship between spatial and networked (social) proximity. Our findings draw attention to several broad lessons for co-managed TURFs: (1) TURFs may operate as isolated silos if co-management agreements do not address relationships among TURF leaders; (2) spatial proximity does not automatically translate to social proximity; and (3) leaders of individuals TURFs need capacity for communication and coordination with other local fisheries leaders. These findings highlight the importance of consideration to the ways that TURF design and implementation influences the relationships and collaboration between fishers, government officials, and other actors.  相似文献

为了探讨遗传算法在汽车悬架参数优化设计中应用的可行性,对遗传算法的基本概念、基本步骤以及常用的基于二进制编码的遗传算法的实现方法进行了研究。以1/4汽车两自由度振动模型为对象,运用遗传算法对悬架刚度和减振器阻尼系数进行了优化求解。研究结果表明,优化后得到的车身垂直振动加速度均方根值较优化前在整个频率范围内均有较大的减小,遗传算法应用于汽车悬架参数的优化设计具有较好的效果。  相似文献

This paper develops an efficient probabilistic model for estimating route travel time variability, incorporating factors of time‐of‐day, inclement weather, and traffic incidents. Estimating the route travel time distribution from historical link travel time data is challenging owing to the interactions among upstream and downstream links. Upon creating conditional probability function for each link travel time, we applied Monte Carlo simulation to estimate the total travel time from origin to destination. A numerical example of three alternative routes in the City of Buffalo shows several implications. The study found that weather conditions, except for snow, incur minor impact on off‐peak and weekend travel time, whereas peak travel times suffer great variations under different weather conditions. On top of that, inclement weather exacerbates route travel time reliability, even when mean travel time increases moderately. The computation time of the proposed model is linearly correlated to the number of links in a route. Therefore, this model can be used to obtain all the origin to destination travel time distributions in an urban region. Further, this study also validates the well‐known near‐linear relation between the standard deviation of travel time per unit distance and the corresponding mean value under different weather conditions.
