在对天津港海域水文泥沙特征和冲淤演变进行分析的基础上,采用二维波浪潮流和泥沙数学模型对天津浮式LNG码头建设的水动力和泥沙问题进行研究,对取排水实施前后流场变化、防波堤建设对码头前流场影响进行了计算分析,同时预报了港池、航道正常年淤强以及一场大风期间淤积厚度,并通过资料分析得到泄洪排涝对工程区泥沙淤积不会产生明显的影响的结论。  相似文献

Marine ecosystems of the East China Sea are rich in biodiversity, with 12,933 species of which approximately 47.7% are endemic. As anthropogenic impacts are intensifying, fishery resources and biodiversity in the East China Sea are under threat from overfishing, habitat loss, pollution, and biological invasions. Marine protected areas (MPAs) and other spatial management measures are believed useful tools to protect and restore biological resources. Seventeen nature reserves, seven special marine reserves, and three fishery resource conservation zones covering a combined area of 102,156 km2 have so far been established in the Chinese East China Sea in order to protect fishery resources, biodiversity, and marine landscapes. This article provides a review and inventory of MPAs in the Chinese East China Sea as implemented by the People's Republic of China.  相似文献

A new simple and accurate shell FE-based structural Hot Spot Stress (HSS) determination method for web-stiffened cruciform joints has been proposed. Local stress of welded joints in full-scale bulk carrier (BC)’s lower stool models subject to bending and pressure loadings are examined. HSSs determined by the proposed method are compared with those derived by Lotsberg’s method and the conventional 0.5t-1.5t extrapolation. As results, following are found:

The local stress of full-scale BC lower stool models with various stool angle and plate thickness can be calculated accurately solely from shell FE results by means of the proposed method.
(2)
HSSs of welded joints in full-scale BC lower stool models subject to bending and pressure loadings derived by the proposed method show good agreement with the target HSSs determined from fine solid models. This demonstrates the validity of the proposed method for actual ship structures under the real load.
(3)
The excessive safety allowance of HSS determined by the conventional 0.5t-1.5t extrapolation can be reduced substantially by adopting Lotsberg’s method or our proposal. The proposed HSS determination method gives more accurate estimates compared to Lotsberg’s method under the conditions chosen, and the application range of the proposed method is equal to or wider than Lotsberg’s method.

This paper presents the optimization of key component sizes and control strategy for parallel hybrid electric vehicles (parallel HEVs) using the bees algorithm (BA). The BA is an intelligent optimization tool that mimics the food foraging behavior of honey bees. Parallel HEV configuration and electric assist control strategy were used to conduct the research. The values of the key component size and the control strategy parameters were adjusted according to the BA to minimize the weighted sum of fuel consumption (FC) and emissions, while the vehicle performance satisfies the PNGV constraints. In this research, the software ADVISOR was used as the simulation tool, and the driving cycles FTP, ECE-EUDC and UDDS were employed to evaluate FC, emission and dynamic performance. The results demonstrate that the BA is a powerful tool in parallel HEV optimization to determine the optimal parameters of component sizes and control strategy, resulting in the improvement of FC and emissions without sacrificing vehicle performance. In addition, the BA is able to define a global solution with a high rate of convergence.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to review several distinct proposals for market-based measures (MBMs) that are under consideration by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) for greenhouse gases (GHGs). Thus far, some ten distinct MBM proposals have been submitted to the IMO. The paper discusses the general concept of an MBM, the mechanisms used by MBMs, and attempts to discuss the pros and cons of the submitted proposals, according to some specific criteria.  相似文献

An analytical study of the performance of a radial-type, metal foam diesel particulate filter is reported. A mathematical model for the filtration and regeneration of soot in a metal foam filter was developed. Nickel foam was selected for the filter medium due to its large specific area, high porosity, and high thermal resistance. For various metal foams, the filtration efficiency and the pressure drop through the filter were calculated, as was the deposition of soot. The results from the analytical model were compared with experimental data. In comparison with a conventional wall flow filter, the metal foam diesel particulate filter (DPF) is effective in utilizing the volume of material, due to the porous structures. As the size of the metal foam pores in the DPF increases from 580 μm to 800 μm, the filtration efficiency decreases from 90% to 50%, and the pressure drop decreases from 380 mbar to 20 mbar. The metal foam DPF with a large pore size is effective in utilizing the volume of material with a small pressure drop. The regeneration is completed within four minutes by the flow of hot exhaust gases under full load conditions.  相似文献

The problem of deriving control laws which minimize specified performance indices for a vehicle moving on a rough surface with preview of the surface elevation is considered. The approach is based on linear optimal tracking theory and consequently the system elements are taken to be linear and the performance index is constrained to be of quadratic form.

The ideas of overtaking optimality are applied to the problem in order to achieve a closed form solution for the control. Then, using the control laws derived, computer simulations of performance are conducted and time histories are shown. In the absence of limitations on either processing or actuator speeds, and for cases in which the preview is sufficient to give good control laws, the value of the preview in enhancing vehicle suspension performance is assessed. The critical components of railroad fraight cars are subjected to fluctuating stresses and, therefore, vulnerable to fatigue damage. These fluctuating stresses result from different motions of the car when it travels along a track and is subjected to various track irregularities. Both the track irregularities and corresponding motions are highly random. Therefore, the fatigue damage can only be determined by means of a percentage probability level. This paper describes a probability-based method for evaluating fatigue damage in a freight car. The effect of uncertain boundary conditions for the car in the calculations of fatigue damage is also discussed. The applications of the method to carbody design and assessment of fatigue life are also explained  相似文献

The role of transport policy in assisting inner city firms is still unclear. This paper raises several important policy questions and reviews the findings of past research, which suggest that transport problems are a major irritant to inner city firms but are unlikely to cause them to leave the area, and that the ability of transport improvements to attract new firms is uncertain.It describes and presents the results of a recent study designed to determine the effect of transport problems on manufacturing and service industries, whether such problems are more serious in the inner city, and which solutions would be most appropriate. The study involved a series of detailed case studies of inner and outer city firms in Leeds and London. It identified as the most serious problems, congestion, public-transport problems, parking shortages and on-site delays for commercial vehicles. Similar problems arose in all areas, but were more severe in inner than in outer areas, and in London than in Leeds.The most common effect was lost time, but reduced efficiency, lost business, staff dissatisfaction and recruitment problems also occurred. Management had difficulty costing the effects of such problems, and often overlooked those incurred by others. The problems were, for the most part, local or site-specific, and are likely to be amenable to low-cost solutions. However, congestion and parking problems in inner London appear to merit area-wide treatment.A series of recommendations is provided for policy-makers.Further details of the study reported here are contained in a series of working papers which are available from the Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds.  相似文献

Reliability of travel modes was found to be the most important characteristic of transportation systems in several attitudinal investigations of individual travel behavior. This paper represents the first part of a research effort aimed at gaining a better understanding of the characteristics of reliability of transportation modes in urban travel. In this research, reliability characteristics are identified; their importance relative to each other is assessed, and an insight into possible structure of an objective reliability index is discussed. The research is based on perceived values of reliability, which were identified through a large attitudinal survey conducted in the Chicago metropolitan area.  相似文献
