In recent years we have seen important extensions of logit models in behavioural research such as incorporation of preference and scale heterogeneity, attribute processing heuristics, and estimation of willingness to pay (WTP) in WTP space. With rare exception, however, a non-linear treatment of the parameter set to allow for behavioural reality, such as embedded risk attitude and perceptual conditioning of occurrence probabilities attached to specific attributes, is absent. This is especially relevant to the recent focus in travel behaviour research on identifying the willingness to pay for reduced travel time variability, which is the source of estimates of the value of trip reliability that has been shown to take on an increasingly important role in project appraisal. This paper incorporates, in a generalised non-linear (in parameters) logit model, alternative functional forms for perceptual conditioning (known as probability weighting) and risk attitude in the utility function to account for travel time variability, and then derives an empirical estimate of the willingness to pay for trip time variability-embedded travel time savings as an alternative to separate estimates of time savings and trip time reliability. We illustrate the richness of the approach using a stated choice data set for commuter choice between unlabelled attribute packages. Statistically significant risk attitude parameters and parameters underlying decision weights are estimated for multinomial logit and mixed multinomial logit models, along with values of expected travel time savings. 相似文献

大直径盾构隧道掘进施工对土体造成扰动,导致地表产生沉降或隆起,继而严重威胁上部建筑物群的结构安全。文章依托某大直径盾构隧道穿越老旧小区密集建筑物群工程,首先利用二维有限元软件计算关键断面房屋的沉降变形,再对比三维有限元软件的计算结果,分析两种计算方法的适用范围;然后基于三维模型探究了不同初期荷载释放率对盾构穿越引起的地表和房屋变形的影响,最后利用Peck公式计算的理论地表沉降数据,梳理初期荷载释放率、地表沉降、地层损失率三者的内部联系并提出了控制变形的相关措施。研究结果表明,初期荷载释放率越小,地表及房屋沉降也越小,对应的地层损失也越小;对于控制地表变形,减小荷载释放率等同于减小地层损失率;初期荷载释放率、地表沉降、地层损失率这三者减小的量值呈线性关系。 相似文献

[Objective]In order to study the dynamic response characteristics and influence laws of a marine gear transmission-propulsion system, a series of bench tests is carried out.[Methods]First, a biaxial gear transmission-propulsion system test bench including a cross connection gear is built. Experiments to test the acceleration response of the gearbox body and propulsion shaft system are then carried out, and the influence of speed, driving mode, axial static thrust, axial dynamic excitation force from the propeller and other factors on the dynamic response characteristics of the system are compared and analyzed. [Results]The experimental results show that the transmission law of the vibration acceleration response of the gear transmission-propulsion system is mainly at the meshing frequency and its multipliers, as well as peaks in the low frequency band of 30–80 Hz under certain working conditions. [Conclusion]This study can provide technical support for the vibration and noise reduction design of gear transmission-propulsion systems. © 2022 Journal of Clinical Hepatology. Although automobile crash test data have a comparatively large variation because of the complexity of the tests, only a limited
number of crash tests are usually conducted due to monetary and time limitations. Thus, it is necessary to control input variables
that cause the variation in test data to obtain consistent crash test results and to correctly assess the safety performance
of an automobile under development. In this study, a MADYMO model was validated deterministically to yield the head, chest,
pelvis deceleration pulses of anthropomorphic test devices and the belt load pulses similar to those from actual tests, and
it was also validated stochastically to yield means and standard deviations of the head and chest injury numbers, i.e., HIC

and 3 msec clip similar to those from actual tests. A stochastic analysis was conducted using the validated MADYMO model to calculate the
sensitivity of the standard deviations of the injury numbers to the standard deviations of influential input variables to
determine the most influential input variable that makes the largest contribution to the variation in the injury numbers.
Moreover, the Taguchi approach was used to determine the optimal values of the influential input variables to improve safety

It is well known that in-cylinder flow is very important factor for the performance of SI engine. An appropriate in-cylinder flow pattern can enhance the turbulence intensity at spark time, therefore increasing the stability of combustion, reducing emission and improving fuel economy. In this paper, the effect of intake port design on in-cylinder flow is studied. It is found a vortex existed at the upper side of intake port of a production SI engine used in the study, during the intake stroke, which will reduce both tumble ratio and volumetric efficiency. A minor modification on intake port is made to eliminate the vortex and increase tumble ratio while keeping volumetric efficiency at the same level. It is demonstrated that the increase in tumble in the new design results in a 20 per cent increase in the fuel vaporization. In this study, both KIVA and STAR-CD are used to simulate the engine cold flow, as well as ICEM CFD and es-ice used as pre-processor respectively due to the complexity of engine geometry. The power management strategy in many hybrid vehicles is based on expert rules and thresholds. These rule-based strategies can result in good efficiency in term of fuel economy and emissions if their thresholds and rules are accurate. However, due to the complexity and the non-linearity of the hybrid powertrain, determining accurate thresholds and rules is neither explicit nor straightforward, and experts in most cases fail to define these thresholds and rules with enough accuracy. Based on this fact, the objective of this paper is to propose a method to improve this rule-based strategy by refining its thresholds and rules. To achieve this, we used an optimization method (dynamic programming) to calculate the optimal power management, determine the optimal control signals, and extract efficient thresholds and rules that can be used in real time. Finally, simulation results for the three strategies (optimal, simple and refined strategy) are shown and discussed. 相似文献
