Model-scale experiments of symmetric ship collisions

This study was initiated due to the lack of experimental data on ship collisions. The feasibility of model-scale ship collision experiments was examined and a series of model-scale ship collision experiments is presented. The theoretical background for the analysis of experiments is given together with the principles of scaling. Proper scaling should assure physical similarity to the large-scale experiments conducted in the Netherlands. The Froude scaling law was followed, resulting in the improper scaling of some forces: the effects of this are discussed. The study concentrates on the dynamics of collisions. The structural response, properly scaled from the large-scale experiments, was modelled using polyurethane foam as the ship’s side structure. The collision process was analysed and the results of model-scale tests, large-scale experiments, and a simple analytical model were compared, showing that there was both quantitative and qualitative agreement in the results of the experiments conducted at different scales. The analytical model yielded good quantitative assessment of the deformation energy.

The crack tip fields of Mode Ⅱ stationary growth crack on bimaterial interface

A mechanical model is established for mode Ⅱ interfacial crack static growing along an elastic-elastic power law creeping bimaterial interface. For frictional contact of boundary conditions on crack faces, asymptotic solutions of the stresses and strains of near tip-crack are got. It was shown that in stable creep growing phase, elastic deformation and viscous deformation are equally dominant in the near-tip field, the stress and strain have the same singularity and there is not the oscillatory singularity the field. Through numerical calculation, it is shown that the frictional coefficient η notably influence the crack-tip field.     

小型帆船自适应自动舵

帆船由于其结构的特殊使其动态特性呈严重的非线性，航向很难控制。首先针对一种小型竞赛用的12m长美洲杯赛帆船，从其结构出发建立数学模型，并对该模型进行了开环仿真试验以验证其真实程度。然后利用MATLAB辨识工具在不同的外部条件下得到各具特色的不同模型，由此确认模型参数的巨大变化难以用一个近似于当前运行模式下的线性化模型设计控制器，因而设计了一个采用自适应LQR的自动舵以控制帆船尖不同外部条件下都能保持航向。最后在该模型上作了仿真，取得了较好的效果。     

从实施《联合国海洋法公约》谈《海上交通安全法》

2008年1月5日,国务院办公厅印发国务院2008年度立法计划,《海上交通安全法》的修订工作位列其中。文中通过分析《联合国海洋法公约》赋予沿海国在海上交通安全管理方面的权利和义务,并针对我国现行《海上交通安全法》存在的部分问题,提出修改《海上交通安全法》的有关建议,以期进一步完善国内海上交通安全监管法律法规。     

斜坡灾害自组织临界性与极值分析

用3种非均匀沙堆作为斜坡灾害的概化模型,通过实验研究其演化行为规律,结果均呈现自组织临界性。进一步分析滑坡、崩塌和泥石流等斜坡灾害实例,表明幂律特征和自组织临界性是许多斜坡灾害的共性。证明幂律分布特征下,斜坡灾害暴发规模的极值分布的极限收敛于Ⅰ型渐进分布。运用推导出的计算公式,以云南蒋家沟泥石流为例,进行计算分析。     

中、欧、美岩土勘察布置的比较

针对中外标准有关岩土勘察布置要求的差异化问题,进行了中标(GB 50021—2001《岩土工程勘察规范》、JTS133—2013《水运工程岩土勘察规范》)、欧标(Eurocode 7《岩土工程设计规范》)和美标(《ASTM岩土勘察类标准》)有关岩土勘察布置要求的对比分析研究。研究发现,中外勘察标准在阶段划分、内容、方法、勘探点间距与深度、试验数量、勘察过程中的优化、施工阶段控制与监测等各个环节均存在明显差异,并在此基础上提出了海外勘察标准应用要点。这些研究成果有助于行业同仁对海外勘察标准的了解和使用,也利于中国勘察标准的国际接轨。
