This is Part II in a series of papers. Part I (J Mar Sci Technol 13:154–163) deals with an approach employed to construct
a simplified FE model using a 3D compartment model available from the beginning of the ship design process. This paper begins
by describing the limitations of an analytical approach based on shear warping beam theory for assessing torsional strength.
Next, the structural parts of a container ship that have a negligible effect on hull girder bending strength and torsional
strength are determined. This is verified by removing these parts from a conventional FE model and comparing the results obtained
using this modified model with those yielded by the original model. The fore end part, the aft end part and the deck house
are examined. Since these parts have complicated structures and relevant drawings for them are issued later than cargo structure
drawings, modeling them exactly can result in a delay in the completion of the full ship FE model. This paper also verifies
the validity of the simplified FE model built by applying the method proposed in Part I and comparing the results obtained
with it with those given by a conventional full ship FE model. The stresses on hatch coaming top, the maximum diagonal elongations
of the hatch coaming, and the maximum hatch corner movements are evaluated to check the validity of the simplified model. 相似文献

水密横舱壁作为20000TEU集装箱船的关键结构,对尺寸精度的要求十分严苛,尤其是焊接变形严重影响其建造精度。针对这一问题,采用基于固有变形理论的弹性有限元分析,来预测水密横舱壁结构的面外焊接变形。同时,比较了计算固有变形的两种方法的准确度,并且总结了热输入与固有变形各分量的经验公式,还提出了减小面外焊接变形的措施。结果表明,通过与实测数据对比验证了弹性有限元分析可快速、准确地预测水密横舱壁结构的面外焊接变形;对于对接接头,变形反演法比应变积分法得到的横向固有弯曲更准确;热输入与固有变形各分量呈线性递增关系;将整个水密横舱壁结构由原来的3段分成5段,并采用对称焊接顺序,面外焊接变形最小,同时会降低对船厂吊装能力的要求。 相似文献

地铁车站使用阶段混凝土温度裂缝控制研究 总被引:5,自引:2,他引:3
以深圳地铁世界之窗站工程为背景,运用仿真模拟的方法,对明挖地铁车站混凝土结构的温度场和温度应力场进行多方面的对比研究。通过三维有限元计算模拟结构降温情况下结构中的温度场与温度应力场,分析构件中的温度梯度分布与混凝土结构开裂的关系,找到易于发生开裂的部位,提出温度筋的配置方式。通过算例对比,计算分析了三种不同约束条件下结构中的温度应力,得到在地铁车站设计中应合理设置伸缩缝和沉降缝的结论。 相似文献

As the number of disabled people grows, independence and mobility become a priority for those individuals. To achieve this
goal, a ‘Turny-type power seat’ was developed in this study to assist a disabled person rise from a vehicle without trouble.
The design and modeling of the power seat were performed using AutoCAD and CATIA software. The major motions of the power
seat system are swiveling, sliding, and extending, which are accomplished primarily by DC motors, chains, and gears. Most
of the power seat parts were made from mild steel. Welding technology was used throughout the frame fabrication. To ensure
the safety and stability of the power seat, various tests were performed, and the results analyzed. The static analysis of
the power seat was carried out by ANSYS 11.0. The results showed that the power seat conformed to the Americans with Disabilities
Act (ADA) standards. The durability test was performed by repeatedly rotating and sliding the power seat under loading conditions.
Dynamic crash simulation was carried out using the LS-DYNA software. The durability test ensured a longer life of the power
seat, while the crash analysis showed a small rotational distortion that was not harmful to passengers. However, the front
seat had a slightly larger forward displacement, which was not comfortable for passengers. Therefore, further modifications
of the power seat should be done to improve the performance, with attention given to the reduction of the forward displacement
in the event of a crash. 相似文献
