小汽车通勤出行者驻车换乘接运方式选择分析

随着城市化发展小汽车拥有量的增加,引起了城市中心区道路交通的严重拥堵,降低了出行效率.为此,北京、上海和广州等大城市通过提高公共交通服务水平,形成地铁、快速公交与较为发达的地面公交相结合的公共交通系统,吸引小汽车通勤出行者选择驻车换乘（Parking and Ride,P＋R）,进入城市中心区.本文结合北京市轨道交通沿线居民小汽车出行和地铁换乘,形成小汽车与轨道接运的特点,在总结北京城市轨道网特征及规模基础上,通过个体意愿调查统计,构建P＋R出行方式选择模型,对地铁5号线终端站天通苑P＋R驻车换乘需求进行了预测,为P＋R建设和公共交通吸引能力分析提供参考.

Advancing Coastal Habitat Resiliency Through Landscape-Scale Assessment

Coastal areas are among the most biologically rich regions in the world. They provide tremendous benefit to people through ecological services like pollution filtration, carbon sequestration, and storm protection. However, human activity has decreased the ability of ecosystems to provide these services, and in many coastal areas, restoration is not as effective as it could be. Limited success is largely attributed to vague goals and a lack of holistic, science-informed planning. Quantifying coastal habitat health can aid in setting better restoration goals and lead to greater restoration success. The Long Island Sound Study National Estuary Program conducted the first comprehensive look at coastal habitat health for the Long Island Sound Estuary. In this study we also reviewed landscape-scale habitat assessment progress within other coastal programs. Results can be applied to establish ecosystem health-oriented goals that improve habitat function and resilience across coastal areas.     

Exploring Public Knowledge,Attitudes, and Perceptions of the Marianas Trench Marine National Monument

With the increase in development of large marine protected areas (LMPAs) worldwide, there have been calls from social scientists to gather better empirical information about the human dimensions of LMPAs. Of the social research done on LMPAs to date, most has focused on the perceptions of stakeholders closely connected to their implementation, and little research has explored the general public's response. This paper presents the results of a phone survey conducted in the US territories of Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands to assess residents' knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions of the Marianas Trench Marine National Monument—a LMPA designated offshore in 2009. The survey was administered in 2012 to 500 randomly-selected residents from each territory. Findings suggest: (1) public awareness of the Monument prior to the survey was low; (2) residents generally supported designation of the Monument; (3) most residents did not believe that the Monument would affect them or their community; and (4) knowledge and perceptions of the Monument varied between fishing and non-fishing households. This research illustrates that awareness and views differ between stakeholders and those of the general public, which should be used to inform social research on LMPAs and outreach for LMPA managers.

该文结合成都198环城湿地公园总体规划,通过对案例区的湿地景观多样性的研究,提供一个尺度适宜、类型多样、功能复合的湿地公园试点模式。通过案例区的规划设计实践,为198全域湿地公园的建设提供一个实验平台和相关借鉴。     

An integrated model for discrete and continuous decisions with application to vehicle ownership,type and usage choices

This paper proposes an integrated econometric framework for discrete and continuous choice dimensions. The model system is applied to the problem of household vehicle ownership, type and usage. A multinomial probit is used to estimate household vehicle ownership, a multinomial logit is used to estimate the vehicle type (class and vintage) choices, and a regression is used to estimate the vehicle usage decisions. Correlation between the discrete (number of vehicles) and the continuous (total annual miles traveled) parts is captured with a full variance–covariance matrix of the unobserved factors. The model system is estimated using Simulated Log-Likelihood methods on data extracted from the 2009 US National Household Travel Survey and a secondary dataset on vehicle characteristics. Model estimates are applied to evaluate changes in vehicle holding and miles driven, in response to the evolution of social societies, living environment and transportation policies.

国家智能交通系统工程技术研究中心承担了国家“十五”科技攻关项目《智能交通系统体系框架及支持系统开发》，目前该项目的研究工作已经基本完成。本文通过对该项目研究成果的总结，系统介绍了中国ITS体系框架研究的最新进展。一是中国ITS体系框架（第二版）的修订情况，包括体系框架开发理论与方法的完善、中国ITS用户服务的更新、国家框架内容的全面修订等；二是支持体系框架编制全过程的软件系统（ITSA-CASS）的开发和应用情况；三是地方ITS体系框架的编制情况。
