ABSTRACT

e-Transformation in container ports means port organization-wide innovative transformation encompassing internal and external value chains based on information and communication technology. There is a considerable theoretical literature on the impact of e-Transformation on business performance, but there is very little empirical study on its effectiveness in ports. The objective of this paper is to empirically investigate how e-Transformation in container port management can influence customer satisfaction and port competitiveness. The findings reveal that e-Transformation in container ports can affect customer satisfaction and port competitiveness through e-Workplace, customer relationship management and security, implying that container ports should make every effort to focus on e-transformation in these critical areas. Due to limited empirical studies in this area, the findings have provided an empirical support for the importance of e-Transformation in container terminal management and shed more light on how e-Transformation can affect customer satisfaction and port competitiveness.  相似文献

Abstract

The focus of this paper is theoretical, as well as methodological. It reviews previous studies of visual impact and reports research by the author on people's evaluation of the appropriateness of different man‐made facilities in different coastal‐area contexts and other environments. In this study, subjects were asked to react to slides developed through the use of landscape models and experimental facilities to simulate the appearance of a building in the landscape, while systematically varying the visual relatedness between the two. Specific interest centered on the variable of congruity vs. contrast between the appearance of the building and its landscape context, manipulated by co‐varying the attributes of color and size to create a five‐point scale of contrast/obtrusiveness. The hypothesis was that judgments of appropriateness, and to a lesser extent judgments of liking, would vary inversely with level of contrast. The role of two further variables, the functional significance of the building in its setting, and the character of the setting itself, was also investigated. The author reviews methodological issues involved where subjects respond to visual stimuli for purposes of judging change in visual quality. These methodological issues include: stimulus‐selection and problems of simulation, choice of response measures, and choice of respondents, and the treatment of individual differences. The author calls for development of standardized scales and indices such as “perceptually‐relevant environmental quality indicators.”  相似文献

为确保动车组高级修的安全、有序、高效、优质,结合未来高速铁路检修业务的客观发展需要,提出了面向动车高级修的RFID应用技术方案和智能信息系统框架.首先,提出动车基地在配件物流、人员作业流、动车组车流、检修设备设施中的RFID应用技术方案,以及应用难点的解决对策;四种应用是有机整体,以配件应用为核心.然后,指出了将RFID全面应用于动车检修生产各环节,结合数据集成与语义融合,可以极大强化既有应用系统的性能与功能;并且重点对运用RFID为检修产能的提升进行了量化评估.文中涉及的几类RFID应用已在动车基地投入使用,或者经过试点、试验.  相似文献

结合无锡地铁1、2号线中电气火灾监控系统的设计、施工、调试、运营等情况,阐述城市轨道交通电气火灾监控系统的具体设计方案,主要包括系统设置范围的变电所400 V柜及环控电控柜出线;系统预警和报警整定值300 m A和500 m A;系统直接与综合监控系统做通信接口等。另外,还指出城市轨道交通电气火灾监控系统在实际设计和施工过程中需要注意的事项,主要包括在设计中只对故障回路进行检测、报警而不联动故障回路断路器跳闸,建议选择一体式监控探测器并且事先预留安装位置等;在施工中N线需穿过探测器,而PE线则不能穿过探测器等,为后续城市轨道交通电气火灾监控系统的设计和施工提供参考。  相似文献

抛石护岸工程水下抛石效果评价是工程水下质量控制的重点和难点。准确掌握和分析工程水下质量状况,对确保抛石护岸的施工质量起到了重要作用。GIS(地理信息系统)技术拥有强大的空间数据处理与分析能力,可用于对水下抛石效果进行多维度的定性与定量分析。分析结果可以准确评价施工质量、精准指导下一阶段施工、降低施工成本。通过对3个试验区的分析,总结出一般施工规律:1)由于工程区上游起始处以及下游深水侧容易产生冲刷,抛石效果较差。2)工程区中部及近岸区抛石效果较好,但容易过抛。  相似文献

根据恒功率负载对船舶电力系统的稳定性的影响,探索影响系统稳定性的因素.通过分析恒功率负载的特性及实现方法并建立系统船舶电力系统带恒功率负载系统的Matlab/Simulink模型,研究了启动、突加、突减负载和短路等不同工况下恒功率负载对船舶电力系统稳定性的影响进行了验证.通过研究,确定了系统稳定性的因素,为未来船舶的电力系统的设计提供参考.  相似文献

相对于传统的基于通信的列车运行控制系统(communication based train control,CBTC),下一代列控系统将具有架构可靠、速率快、成本低以及服务质量高等优点,且数据通信系统的可用性能够保障列车的安全和高效运行。面向下一代列控系统,首先设计基于LTE-M(long term evolution-metro,LTE-M)的通信系统结构;然后针对下一代列控系统典型场景,利用确定与随机Petri网(deterministic and stochastic petri nets,DSPN)进行可用性建模,最后进行模型求解和可用性评估。仿真结果显示,基于LTE-M的下一代列控数据通信系统能够满足实际通信需求,其可用性分析方法可以完成数据通信系统的可用性建模与评估。  相似文献

Two typical criteria for good vehicle suspension performance are their ability to provide good road handling and increased passenger comfort. The main disturbance affecting these two criteria is terrain irregularities. Active suspension control systems reduce these undesirable effects by isolating car body motion from vibrations at the wheels. This paper describes fuzzy and adaptive fuzzy control (AFC) schemes for the automobile active suspension system (ASS). The design objective is to provide smooth vertical motion so as to achieve the road holding and riding comfort over a wide range of road profiles. The efficacy of the proposed control schemes is demonstrated via simulations. With respect to the optimal linear quadratic regulator (LQR), it is shown that superior results have been achieved by the AFC.  相似文献

In recent years so-called ‘virtual test rigs’ have become more and more important in the development process of cars and trucks. Originally, the idea was to substitute expensive durability tests with computer simulation. Meanwhile, the focus has changed towards a more cooperative usage of numerical and laboratory rig simulation. For many safety critical issues laboratory tests remain indispensable. In early development stages, when no physical prototypes are available yet, numerical simulation is used to analyse and optimise the design. In this paper, we show how to build numerical simulation models of complex servo-hydraulic test systems and their test specimen using multi-body simulation for the mechanics in combination with simulation models for the hydraulics and controls. We illustrate this at two industrial application examples: a spindle-coupled passenger car suspension rig and a tyre-coupled full vehicle rig. We show how the simulation models are used to design and optimise better test rigs and to support the test rig operation by preparing the physical tests with new specimen, i.e. by performing numerical simulations including numerical drive file iteration before the physical tests start.  相似文献
