基于GPRS的摊铺机状态远程监测方案设计

本文介绍一种基于GPRS的摊铺机远程监控系统.该系统由传感器参数采集、GPRS通信网络和监测中心上位机软件三大部分构成,对摊铺机模拟机的状态参数进行采集监测,实现远程控制.系统采用GPRS作为通信手段,大大降低了系统的建设费用和维护费用,扩大了系统的监控范围.

Improving maritime inventory routing: application to a Brazilian petroleum case

The crude oil offloading and supply problem (COSP) is a type of operation maritime inventory routing (MIR) problem encountered by petroleum companies. In COSP, the company not only is responsible for the ship scheduling to carry the crude oil from production sites to discharge ports but also must maintain inventory levels at both ports (production and consumption) between safety operational bounds to avoid disruptions in its crude oil production and/or refining processes. We show how to improve significantly the decision-making process in a Brazilian petroleum company using a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) model to represent COSP. Comparison tests with a current ship-scheduling method adopted in the company indicated that the use of the MILP model increased the transportation efficiency and reduced costs by 20% on average. In addition to the quantitative gains, the use of a MILP model to solve COSP has succeeded when encountering real-life events, such as variation in production or consumption rates, berth unavailability, and changes in the storage capacities at ports.

Privacy protection method for fine-grained urban traffic modeling using mobile sensors

With the ubiquitous nature of mobile sensing technologies, privacy issues are becoming increasingly important, and need to be carefully addressed. Data needs for transportation modeling and privacy protection should be deliberately balanced for different applications. This paper focuses on developing privacy mechanisms that would simultaneously satisfy privacy protection and data needs for fine-grained urban traffic modeling applications using mobile sensors. To accomplish this, a virtual trip lines (VTLs) zone-based system and related filtering approaches are developed. Traffic-knowledge-based adversary models are proposed and tested to evaluate the effectiveness of such a privacy protection system by making privacy attacks. The results show that in addition to ensuring an acceptable level of privacy, the released datasets from the privacy-enhancing system can also be applied to urban traffic modeling with satisfactory results. Albeit application-specific, such a “Privacy-by-Design” approach would hopefully shed some light on other transportation applications using mobile sensors.     

海事司法鉴定存在的问题及完善

文中分析了当前我国海事司法鉴定工作存在的问题,结合海事审判特点,从建立海事司法鉴定法律体系、完善海事司法鉴定人资格审核制度、建构海事司法鉴定机构、对海事司法鉴定机构实行统一管理、完善鉴定人出庭制度等五个方面提出解决对策,以期对完善我国海事司法鉴定制度有所裨益。     

Ocean Citizenship: An Emergent Geographical Concept

Ocean citizenship describes a relationship between our everyday lives and the health of the coastal and marine environment. Through our everyday lives we affect, and are affected by, the marine and coastal environment in numerous ways. As such, individuals have a responsibility to make informed lifestyle choices to minimize this impact. In doing so, the actions of individuals can contribute to the amelioration of large-scale and seemingly insurmountable geographical problems. This article outlines the concept of ocean citizenship within the context of the public understanding of marine environmental issues. The article draws heavily on the experience of the National Maritime Museum as an important contributor to the development of ocean citizenship in the United Kingdom. Specifically, the Planet Ocean initiative will be examined, in which the Museum has adopted a multimodal approach to public engagement through exhibitions, educational resources, and specific research publications. The article concludes by highlighting the importance of geography in the development and sustainability of ocean citizenship.     

行政备案在海事管理中的运用

文中对行政备案的定义、分类、目的、作用及主管机关的责任进行了探讨,对海事法规中的行政备案内容进行了归纳,指出了海事管理行政备案工作中存在的问题及疑惑,重点就备案的材料要求、审查原则、办理流程及签注进行了分析,提出了相应建议,以供海事立法及管理参考。     

高粘度硬沥青混合料路用性能研究

文章对高粘度硬沥青混合料路用性能进行了研究,通过室内试验对高粘度硬沥青(AH-30)、重交通沥青(AH-70)和SBS改性沥青混合料路用性能进行全面的对比试验,结果表明,高粘度硬沥青具有粘稠度大、针入度小的基本特点,其混合料具有高强度、高模量、优异的高温稳定性、水稳性及抗疲劳性能,可应用于南方湿热地区沥青路面的中下面层,从而大大提高沥青路面的使用性能和使用寿命。
