A perspective view of of Japanese R&D activities of Driver Information Systems is given from the standpoint of developing joint projects by public and private sectors. First, a brief history of the R&D activities is illustrated from above mentioned standpoint. Then, two major projects, AMTICS and RACS, and the social backgrounds of these projects are explained. In order to give a clear idea of both projects some technical details are treated.Based on the history and the present status of the developments, the basic design conceptions of Japanese Driver Information Systems are explained and several factors or reasons which have influenced to the design conception are discussed. Then, the promoting systems of the R&D activities are generally explained and present status of the projects and future problems in developing more advanced systems are also handled. In mode choice decision, travelers consider not only travel time but also reliability of its modes. In this paper, reliability was expressed in terms of standard deviation and maximum delay that were measured based on triangular distribution. In order to estimate value of time and value of reliability, the Multinomial and Nested Logit models were used. The analysis results revealed that reliability is an important factor affecting mode choice decisions. Elasticity is used to estimate the impacts of the different policies and system improvements for water transportation mode. Among these policies, decision maker can assess and select the best alternative by doing the benefit and cost analysis based on a new market share, the value of time, and the value of reliability. Finally, a set of promising policies and system improvement of the water transportation were proposed. 相似文献

This paper investigates the feasibility of a self-organizing, completely distributed traffic information system based upon vehicle-to-vehicle communication technologies. Unlike centralized traffic information systems, the proposed system does not need public infrastructure investment as a prerequisite for implementation. Due to the complexity of the proposed system, simulation is selected as the primary approach in the feasibility studies. A simulation framework is built based on an existing microscopic traffic simulation model for the simulation studies. The critical questions for building the proposed market-driven system are examined both from communication requirements and traffic engineering points of view. Traffic information propagation both in freeway and arterial networks via information exchange among IVC-equipped vehicles is tested within the simulation framework. Results on the probability of successful IVC and traffic information propagation distance obtained from the simulation studies are generated and analyzed under incident-free and incident conditions for various roadway formats and parameter combinations. Comparisons between the speed of the incident information wave and the speed of the corresponding traffic shock wave due to the incident are analyzed for different scenarios as the most crucial aspect of the information propagation as a potential foundation for application in such a decentralized traffic information system. 相似文献

电气化铁道的牵引供电系统三相严重不平衡,存在大量的谐波和无功,各供电区段需要用分相绝缘器分隔,从而制约了高速、重载铁路的发展。基于阻抗匹配平衡变压器和AT供电方式的新型同相牵引供电系统,不仅可以解决以上问题,还继承了AT供电方式所特有的通信防护效果好、综合经济技术性能优越的特点;同时在有源滤波器的作用下,实现了单台双绕组工作变压器的接线方式,比原系统结线简单、维护方便。文中分析了系统平衡变换原理,讨论了系统的平衡方式、补偿电流检测与有源滤波器控制方法。分析和仿真证实本文提出的平衡方式和检测方法是正确的,同相供电系统方案是可行的。 相似文献

介绍一种利用嵌入式系统和GPRS技术相结合,实现铁路道口远程监控及告警和列车接近预警的应用系统。详细描述了系统组成结构、硬件原理设计和软件实现方法。通过该系统不仅使列车接近道口时有声光报警,而且可以使得铁路道口管理部门不用到达道口所在位置,通过铁路道口控制中心的检测平台,就可以对整个辖区内的铁路道口设备工作状态和道口通过列车的车流量进行全面监控,从而迅速地了解道口设备的故障类型,在最短时间内保证设备正常运行,同时也便于铁路道口的监管部门对其道口监护员的工作进行远程监控。 相似文献
