信息技术在内河集装箱码头管理中的应用

内河集装箱码头在经营管理模式上有其特殊性,生产作业流程不完全依据港口国际集装箱作业流程。信息管理系统着重在集装箱的运作管理、与外部信息交换系统和商务计费系统这几个方面,重点解决系统的"信息孤岛"、检查桥未能履行闸口职能、集装箱堆场场位不准、现场作业信息的反馈、不能与外部共享信息数据等问题。

随着微小卫星技术的不断发展,分布式卫星系统的概念应运而生。然而,由于分布式卫星系统本身的复杂性及其工作环境的动态不确定性,使得系统的测控与运行管理模式由传统的地面测控运营方式向智能化自主运行方式发展。从分布式卫星系统及其自主运行技术的研究进展上,重点讨论了分布式卫星系统自主运行的思想,综述国内外一些研究组织、学者的相关研究成果。最后探讨基于Multi-Agent分布式卫星系统自主运行未来所面临的技术挑战。

A stability analysis of tandem offloading systems at sea

In this article, we analyze the linear stability of tandem offloading systems in wind, current, and waves. The wind and current forces are evaluated with the help of published experimental data, while the hydrodynamic coefficients and wave drift forces are rigorously estimated by using a three-dimensional singularity distribution method based on potential theory. The bow hawser and mooring lines are described quasistatically by elastic catenary equations. In order to examine the linear static and dynamic stability of the system, the equations for surge, sway, and yaw are linearized. The effect of design parameters such as turret position, mooring stiffness, and hawser length and stiffness on stability is investigated based on linearized model. The stability analysis clarifies the mechanism of the limit cycle for tandem offloading systems, which is known as fishtailing motion. The theoretical results of the shape and amplitude of the limit cycle are found to be in good agreement with those of simulations and experiments.     

一类无穷维动力系统的分叉问题

本文用Ｌｉａｐｕｎｏｖ－Ｓｃｈｍｉｄｔ方法和Ｆｒｅｄｈｏｌｍ方法研究了一类自偏微分方程描述的无穷动力系统的分叉问题，证明了当雷诺数增至π＾２时，系统发生超临界的音叉分叉。用摄动法确定分叉解的稳定性。     

Artificial intelligence for traffic signal control based solely on video images

Learning-based traffic control algorithms have recently been explored as an alternative to existing traffic control logics. The reinforcement learning (RL) algorithm is being spotlighted in the field of adaptive traffic signal control. However, no report has described the implementation of an RL-based algorithm in an actual intersection. Most previous RL studies adopted conventional traffic parameters, such as delays and queue lengths to represent a traffic state, which cannot be exactly measured on-site in real time. Furthermore, the traffic parameters cannot fully account for the complexity of an actual traffic state. The present study suggests a novel artificial intelligence that uses only video images of an intersection to represent its traffic state rather than using handcrafted features. In simulation experiments using a real intersection, consecutive aerial video frames fully addressed the traffic state of an independent four-legged intersection, and an image-based RL model outperformed both the actual operation of fixed signals and a fully actuated operation.     

High downforce race car vertical dynamics: aerodynamic index

Race car performance is strongly affected by aerodynamics. Due to downforce generated by the vehicle floor (i.e. diffuser), vehicle ride heights are key parameters to improve performance, and the coupling of aerodynamics and suspension is one of the key points of race car setting. This work focuses on the suspension and aerodynamic coupling from the vertical dynamics point of view. Besides road holding performance, for race cars, aerodynamic performance and stability are major factors. Downforce decreases laptime (the main performance target) but pitch instability is a non-desired effect that can happen in high downforce race cars. A new vertical dynamic performance index is proposed through the use of simulation to improve aerodynamic performance and understand the pitch instability phenomenon. This new index uses all relevant vehicle nonlinearities related to vertical dynamics and can handle a specific track profile and vehicle speed range, allowing the analysis be conducted according to a circuit specification. A previously validated Formula 3 car model was used as an example.
