试论大学英语课堂活动的有效策划

随着教学改革的不断深入,英语教师越来越重视活动在课堂中的运用。本文首先分析了大学英语课堂活动中存在的问题,再从五个方面提出了策划课堂活动时提高活动有效性的原则及改进方法,这五个方面分别是:明确活动的目标性、加强活动实用性、确保活动的可行性、把握活动的可控性、提高活动的参与性。     

Design and evaluation of an integrated inventory and transportation system

This paper proposes the adoption of an integrated inventory and transportation system (IITS) to minimize the total costs of inventory and transportation. A non-linear programing is developed by analyzing transportation and inventory costs with one supplier and many retailers in the distribution environment. The paper compares the proposed model with the traditional approach in computing total costs with numerical data. The results indicate that the total costs can be optimized by adopting integrated programing rather than the traditional approach, along with achieving improved customer service levels. In particular, sensitivity analysis is applied to determine the performance of the IITS under various transportation costs, holding costs and shortage costs. It shows that the transportation cost per unit is most sensitive in the proposed model. In this situation, the IITS is more effective for cost saving when set-up cost, holding and shortage costs are high, but is less effective for situations involving high per-unit transportation costs.     

Support for Oregon land‐use planning: A multi‐level analysis

Abstract

This article analyzes support for and opposition to state land‐use planning in Oregon, using voting records from the 1976 referendum to repeal Oregon's regulatory legislation and survey data. Support for controlled growth legislation is found to be a product of both individual‐level characteristics and characteristics of the larger community where one resides. The most influential contextual variables are the county's economy and the class composition of the city. The authors conclude that coastal zone managers must exercise caution when interpreting individual survey data which indicate support for various environmental concerns. Contextual differences must be taken into consideration because sources of support for coastal zone management may vary among individuals, depending on the nature of the communities in which they live.

晚期奥斯曼帝国的军事改革评析

奥斯曼帝国最先推行的西化改革政策就是引进西方军事技术,改造旧军队以适应新形势。无论阿布杜.哈米德一世的改革,还是塞利姆三世的改革,目的都是尽快强兵,扭转军事上的败局,带有极强的功利性,但没有取得期望的成效。不过,改革政策倡导向西方学习、引进西方先进技术,对输入外来文明有利。军事改革不成功,主要是难以把旧军队改造成新军队。每次军事改革都会触动军事贵族的利益,军事贵族与其他反素丹的力量联合,要挟甚至废黜推行改革的素丹,迫使改革措施搁浅。直到马哈茂德二世执政之后的第十九年,才彻底摧毁旧军队,为其后的改革扫除了障碍,并建立了新式军队。

通过对船舶航行工况条件下锥面连接的受力分析,得出锥面连接的表面接触比压与其能传递的轴向摩擦力和摩擦扭矩关系的计算公式;并对压入安装工况条件下锥面连接的受力分析,得出装配时压入力与接触比压关系的计算公式。通过实例计算,证明该计算方法是可行的。
