Deployment of stationary and dynamic charging infrastructure for electric vehicles along traffic corridors

As charging-while-driving (CWD) technology advances, charging lanes can be deployed in the near future to charge electric vehicles (EVs) while in motion. Since charging lanes will be costly to deploy, this paper investigates the deployment of two types of charging facilities, namely charging lanes and charging stations, along a long traffic corridor to explore the competitiveness of charging lanes. Given the charging infrastructure supply, i.e., the number of charging stations, the number of chargers installed at each station, the length of charging lanes, and the charging prices at charging stations and lanes, we analyze the charging-facility-choice equilibrium of EVs. We then discuss the optimal deployment of charging infrastructure considering either the public or private provision. In the former, a government agency builds and operates both charging lanes and stations to minimize social cost, while in the latter, charging lanes and stations are assumed to be built and operated by two competing private companies to maximize their own profits. Numerical experiments based on currently available empirical data suggest that charging lanes are competitive in both cases for attracting drivers and generating revenue.

Reliability analysis of ship hulls made of composite materials under sagging moments

An approach is presented to assess the reliability of ship hulls made of composite materials under sagging moments. Buckling, first-ply failure, and ultimate collapse are regarded as the three possible failure modes of ship hulls of composite materials under sagging moments. Reliability estimates were carried out by a combination of the first-order second-moment method and the response surface methodology. A ship hull of composite materials under sagging moments was evaluated and the results showed that the effects on reliability estimates of the model uncertainty in the longitudinal strength of the ship hull, the model uncertainty of the sagging moments, and the sagging moments were significant, whereas the influences of the stochastic characteristics of material elastic moduli were relatively unimportant.     

城市轨道交通网络规划理论方法研究进展

在详细分析、总结国内外城市轨道交通规划领域的研究成果和存在问题的基础上,总结归纳了网络规划指导思想、规划原则、规划的要点、网络规模、网络优化、轨道项目的建设排序、客流预测理论和方法,指出我国城市轨道交通规划工作已经取得较大的进步和发展,对规划的特征和规律有深层认识,加强了定性定量的分析论证,使城市轨道交通网络规划的合理性日趋提高,但也存在许多有待进一步发展和完善之处。对我国城市轨道交通网络规划理论方法的发展提出了新建议。     

人工智能研究方法及途径

人工智能是一门工程技术学科，它的每一步发展都与人们采用的方法有很大的关系。传统的人工智能研究方法，如符号主义，联结主义，并没有使计算机达到具有人类智能的水平。要想使机器具有人类智能，必须突破计算机的局限性，与其它学科联手，开展思维科学的研究，创造新的研究方法和途径。     

基于响应面方法的结构有限元模型修正研究进展

综述了响应面方法在结构模型修正方面的应用与研究进展,包括响应面方法在工程领域的应用、基于响应面方法的结构有限元模型修正的一般原理以及在试验设计、响应面函数形式、拟合方法等重点方面的研究进展状况。展望了基于响应面方法结构有限元模型修正的研究发展方向。     

“步骤教学法”在乒乓球俱乐部教学中的效果探析

本文运用教学实验法对某院乒乓球选项的教学进行研究。研究结果表明,在乒乓球教学中,采取＂步骤教学法＂教学能更快、更好地使学生掌握正确击球时间,同时能形成正确的击球技术动作,从而提高击球的质量和命中率。     

铁路客运专线车站自动售检票终端配置算法

影响车站售票机配置数量的主要因素包括高峰小时旅客发送量、发送旅客超高峰小时系数、站内售票机的售票分担率和售票速度、站房设计的售票厅和进站厅的数量等；影响车站检票机配置数量的主要因素包括高峰小时旅客发送及到达量、到发旅客超高峰小时系数、非常规发送及到达客流波动系数、检票模式、检票机的检票速度、站房设计的出站厅布局以及站台数量等。根据铁路客运专线车站自动售检票系统总体方案，基于对上述影响因素的分析，给出车站自动售检票终端设备配置数量的计算方法。     

船用核反应堆余热排出系统的可靠性分析

文章分别应用GO法和故障树法对船用核反应堆余热排出系统进行了可靠性分析，比较了两种方法建模和计算的不同。在建模和计算过程中，GO法比故障树法更为简便、快捷、有效。     

The Quiet Revolution in Visual Resource Management: A view from the coast

Abstract

This introductory piece traces the growth of knowledge and activity associated with visual resource management in general. A specific framework of questions regarding methods of coastal zone visual resource management is presented. The state‐of‐the‐art in methodological studies is listed for each question, and the methodological questions are related to the major articles with the special issue of the Coastal Zone Management Journal. Major legal federal statutes, state statutes, and court cases are reviewed in light of visual resource management in the coastal zone. The remaining articles within the special issue that deal with integration of VRM into decision‐making are then arrayed against a management framework. This framework includes regulatory situations for (1) public land management and planning, (2) public projects involving private lands, and (3) public regulation of private projects.
