Measuring the sustainability of marine fuels: A fuzzy group multi-criteria decision making approach

The use of alternative energy sources instead of HFO has been recognized as a promising way for reducing emissions from shipping and promoting the development of green shipping. However, it is usually difficult for the decision-making to select the best choice among multiple alternative marine fuels. In order to address this, a complete criteria system for sustainability assessment of alternative marine fuels was firstly established, and a fuzzy group multi-criteria decision making method has been developed to rank the alternative marine fuels by combining fuzzy logarithmic least squares and fuzzy TOPSIS (Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution). Fuzzy logarithmic least squares method has been employed to determine the weights of the criteria for sustainability assessment, and fuzzy TOPSIS was employed to determine the sustainability order of the alternatives. An illustrative case with three alternative marine fuels including methanol, LNG and hydrogen has been studied by the proposed method, and hydrogen has been recognized as the most sustainable scenario, follows by LNG, and methanol in the descending order. The results show that the proposed method is feasible for prioritizing the alternative marine fuels; it also has the ability to help the decision-makers to select the most sustainable option among multiple marine fuels.

造船系统中间产品加工族划分的研究

对中间产品进行成组生产，是以中间产品为导向的现代造船模式的基本特征。本文以部件的分类成组为研究对象，详细分析了某一17万吨散货船部件的特征，应用聚类分析法对部件进行分类，并结合船厂的生产实际，对部件加工族的数目进行了讨论。分析结果显示，全船4624个部件共形成5个部件加工族。     

组团式城市居民出行特征变化趋势分析

随着全国城市化率的不断提高,城市空间布局由单中心集聚逐渐向多中心组团式发展,从而居民出行特征也发生了相应的变化。本文通过应用纵向和横向对比研究方法来更准确把握组团城市居民出行特性的发展变化趋势。首先对国内石家庄市在2000和2007年不同时期的居民出行特征进行纵向比较分析,其次又对石家庄和广州两个组团城市居民出行特征作横向比较分析,从而看出组团式城市的居民出行特征指标随着城市规模、布局的变化而变化,并呈现出一定的规律性。相应的结论有助于城市综合交通规划的设计和研究,并且对同类城市起到借鉴意义。     

A Layer-Cluster Key Agreement Protocol for Ad Hoc Networks

Mobile ad hoc networks create additional challenges for implementing the group key establishment due to resource constraints on nodes and dynamic changes on topology. The nodes in mobile ad hoc networks are usually low power devices that run on battery power. As a result, the costs of the node resources should be minimized when constructing a group key agreement protocol so that the battery life could be prolonged. To achieve this goal, in this paper we propose a security efficient group key agreement protocol based on Burmester-Desmedt (BD) scheme and layer-cluster group model, referred to as LCKM-BD, which is appropriate for large mobile ad hoc networks. In the layer-cluster group model, BD scheme is employed to establish group key, which can not only meet security demands of mobile ad hoc networks but also improve executing performance. Finally, the proposed protocol LCKM-BD are compared with BD, TGDH (tree-based group Diffe-Hellman), and GDH (group Diffie-Hellman) group key agreement protocols. The analysis results show that our protocol can significantly decrease both the computational overhead and communication costs with respect to these comparable protocols.
