地处风沙、干旱地区的建设工程,自然环境条件恶劣,混凝土结构物经过浇筑后,需采取特殊养护措施,才能保证工程质量,从而造成费用增加.此文以处于沙漠戈壁地区的LX铁路部分区段为例,就铁路轨道支撑层、道床板和桥梁墩台采用特殊养护措施所需的材料和人工消耗及费用单价进行分析与计算,并与常规养护措施进行比较.说明采取特殊养护措施后相应费用的不足.应研究解决费用增加的方案。     

Unraveling the evacuation behavior of the medically fragile population: Findings from hurricane Irene

Despite the widely recognized importance of evacuation planning for residents with special needs – in this paper referred to as the medically fragile population – there is virtually no research available to guide such planning, as opposed to the numerous empirical research studies on the evacuation behavior of the general population. In this paper, we provide these long-overdue insights using data from a large-scale phone survey (over 7000 samples) conducted in the aftermath of hurricane Irene in the Hampton Roads region in Virginia. Via aggregate and disaggregate analyses, we start to unravel the behavior of this heavily understudied, and potentially vulnerable population group. Special emphasis will be placed on the differences between the medically fragile and non-medically fragile population. Two alternative definitions for what constitutes medically fragile are examined in this paper. Using the broader definition, it was found that a key difference between these two groups relates to the importance of having a strong network of family members in the area. When considering a more narrow definition, we found that being a single parent household, likelihood of neighborhood flooding and knowing most of the names of one’s neighbors have significantly different impacts on the two population groups.     

对最小二乘拟合法计算桥涵设计流量的改进

目前桥涵水文计算主要采用经验统计法,它是以皮尔逊Ⅲ型曲线作为理论频率曲线来进行的适线计算。该法存在反复试算、手工绘制理论曲线和经验频率曲线点等缺点。为了克服这些缺点,提高计算效率,有人提出采用曲线拟合的方法来进行计算。针对常用的以幂函数为基函数的最小二乘曲线拟合方法,用双曲函数作为基函数来改进,进一步提高了计算的精度和效率。     

强预不变凸函数的新性质及应用

对一类新的广义凸函数-强预不变凸函数作了进一步研究。首先给出例子说明了此类广义凸函数的存在性,然后利用强η-不变凸集和函数的上图(E(f)={(x,α):x∈K,α∈R,f(x)≤α})得到了强预不变凸函数的几个重要性质,并用另一方法给出它的一个判别定理的简化证明,最后还给出了强预不变凸函数在数学规划问题中的一个重要应用,从而完善了对此类广义凸函数的研究。     

船舶气幕减阻技术现状及研究展望

船舶减阻技术一直备受关注,气幕减阻技术是其一个重要发展方向。在综述了国内外气幕减阻技术现有研究的主要实验和理论成果的基础上,分析了存在的主要问题,特别是对军用舰船存在的次生暴露、尾流加重等严重问题。为此,有针对性地提出了研制特种自消隐气幕的新思想,并提供了可行的研究思路和实现方案。     

Application of H∞ control in rudder/flap vector robust control of a ship＇s course

Given the uncertainty of parameters and the random nature of disturbances that effect a ships course, a robust course controller should be designed on the basis of rudder/flap vector control. This paper analyzes system uncertainty, and the choice of weighting functions is also discussed. When sea waves operate on a ship, the energy-concentrating frequency varies with the angle of encounter. For different angles of encounter, different weighting functions are designed. For the pole of a nominal model existing in an imaginary axis, the bilinear-transform method is used. The ＂2-Riccati＂ equation is adopted to solve the H∞ controller. A system simulation is given, and the results show that, compared with a PID controller, this system has higher course precision and more robust performance. This research has significant engineering value.
