Development of a shipyard simulator based on Petri nets

There are many restrictions on production in the factory. The most efficient production schedule should be planned taking these restrictions into account. Professional skill is necessary to plan the best schedule. A schedule planner has to deal with so much information during production planning that it is difficult to plan the best production schedule with a consideration of so many restrictions. In this study we introduced the use of Petri nets to support such production planning with a computer. Petri nets have been widely used to simulate production because of their capability of modeling concurrency, synchronization, and sequencing in discrete-event systems. This paper reports on implementing a simulation system for the shipyard. We had already implemented a production planning support system for a shipyard that is a part of the computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) system in shipbuilding. Based on this system, we implemented a shipyard simulator that can simulate the production activity in the shipyard. We therefore have defined a shipyard model. The production conditions can be changed, and the efficiency of a schedule can be evaluated. This paper discusses the effectiveness of using a factory simulator. Study on DSM-based task planning of product cooperative development

The results of analyzing the managerial characteristics and complexity of product cooperative development suggest that task planning is an important aspect for process management of product cooperative development and the method for planning tasks should be able to model the dependency between tasks and iterations during the development process. In this paper, a DSM-based method and its corresponding optimization algorithms are developed. At first the coupled task sets and uncoupled task sets are identified, and the tasks are then optimized by the corresponding algorithms. The optimal tasks plan will reduce the development time and cost. Considering the practical requirements in real world, a Multilayer DSM is proposed, and its information communication techniques between DSM and traversing principle are described in details.

成品油管道由于顺序输送多种介质,且中间站下载量调整频繁,造成管道水力状况复杂多变。因此,根据规范要求,在设计时要对管道进行水力分析。鉴于引起不稳定流的工况众多,如果全部都进行分析,势必使工作量过大,降低设计效率。根据经验,对各种常见工况进行了分析,并推荐出不同管道条件下需要优先考虑模拟计算的工况。     

Key technology of ship product data exchange based on STEP

In this paper, in order to implement the share and exchange of the ship product data, a new kind of global function model is established. By researching on the development and trend of the application of ship STEP （ standard for the exchange of product model data） standards, the AIM （application interpreted model） of AP216 is developed and improved as an example, aiming at the characteristics and practical engineering of ship industry in our country. The data exchange interfaces are formed based on STEP in the CAD/CAM for the ship by all function modules and shared databases under the global function model. The share and exchange of all information and data are solved in the design, manufacture and all life-cycle of ship products among different computer application systems. The research work makes foundation for the ship industry informatization.
