Lessons from a Multi-Scale Historical Reconstruction of Newfoundland and Labrador Fisheries

In this article we use a multi-scale, multi-method historical reconstruction of post– World War II social-ecological interactions within fisheries in Newfoundland and Labrador to explore the dynamics of intensification, expansion, and resource degradation in managed fisheries. Our case study draws on landings statistics, other archival information, and the Local Ecological Knowledge (LEK) of fish harvesters to explore these linked dynamics at the macro, meso, and micro levels. By some measures we found large scale trends toward intensification of effort leading to over-harvesting at macro (province wide) levels. At the same time, at the local level (micro-scale) and across sectors and regions (the meso-scale), we found highly fluid fishing practices and a complex suite of stated motivations for change. As a basis for effective governance, an understanding of the dynamics of interactive restructuring in social ecological systems will require multi-scale analyses that are sensitive to this complexity.

结合北京至石家庄新建铁路滹沱河特大桥跨京广线（80＋128＋80）m连续梁转体施工,简述了＂T＂构到位后,在既有线电气化网到箱梁梁底1.5 m有限空间范围内,中跨合龙段的施工流程,重点阐述了该种复杂条件下的挂篮设计与安拆技术,可为类似工程提供参考。     

高铁站场下地下空间结构逆作施工变形分析

随着城市轨道交通和高速铁路的大量建设,两者之间的交叉影响越来越多。以上海西站地下南北通道工程为背景,考虑高速铁路列车荷载特点,并将此荷载施加到地下空间结构逆作施工的三维有限元模型中,通过三维有限元数值模拟及实测数据的对比分析,从而得到地下空间结构及高速铁路路基的变形规律。

消除三相电压不平衡引起的电压源逆变器直流环节电压脉动的控制方法

研究和分析了用于消除电网不平衡时电压源逆变器直流母线脉动电流的补偿控制方法.脉动电流不仅影响传动装置的运行性能,而且降低逆变器的电源品质.控制参数范围的选择取决于变流器抵抗电压不平衡的能力和系统参数.文中讨论和分析了在控制参数范围内控制方法对每相的功率因数和电流幅值的影响,重点分析了功率因数和前端整流器输入端电流不平衡问题,并提供系统在无补偿控制和补偿控制两种状态下的数值仿真和实验测量结果.     

基于SVM的舰艇自动防御体系设计

论文针对舰艇防御现状,提出了舰艇自动防御体系的概念.利用支持向量机的方法对目标信息进行分类,根据分类情况选择相应的防御策略,并对舰艇防御对抗策略的生成方式进行了设计,同时提出了防御等级的概念.设计了防御体系的训练和启用方式,根据防御等级和目标信息启用不同的防御策略.     

基于缩减自由度的状态空间法计算伸缩全回转推进器轴系扭振

根据拉格朗日方程法,给出自由度缩减原理,将具有一个转动自由度的半正定系统缩减一个自由度,转化成正定系统,刚度矩阵不再奇异,采用状态空间法求解系统在时域上的强迫振动响应,其角位移结果能够直观的反映出系统的振动特性,对结果进行比对分析。     

A new lost time estimation method for right‐turn traffic in Japan considering signal phasing and sneakers

Precise estimation of the capacity for right‐turn traffic (comparable to left‐turn traffic in the USA) is of great importance to determine signal phasing schemes at signalized intersections in Japan, where the left‐hand driving rule is valid. However, in most signal timing procedures across the world, the lost time of right‐turn traffic is simply determined by the duration of intergreen intervals and thus lacks considerations of various signal phasing and driver behavior. Meanwhile, sneakers per cycle are usually applied to account for the number of drivers completing right turns during the effective red portion of the clearance‐and‐change intervals. As a result, an initial cycle length must be hypothesized in order to assess the total number of sneakers within the analysis period. Consequently, a time‐consuming iterative calculation process often becomes necessary. Therefore, the present study aims to develop a new lost time estimation method for right‐turn traffic to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks. Lost times of right‐turn traffic under three conventional phasing plans are theoretically formulated on the basis of a time–space diagram and shock‐wave theory. The new method is validated using field data, with case studies of its application in the signal timing procedure. Results indicated that the proposed method is capable of offering more accurate estimation than conventional approaches, which leads to shorter cycle length and simplifies signal timing process by eliminating an iterative check to determine the number of sneakers. Short-term work team scheduling models for effective road repair and management

Abstract

In this study, we focus on the development of work team routing/scheduling models incorporating stochastic travel and repair times. Robust and expected optimization concepts, combined with a time–space network technique, are used to develop the models. We perform numerical tests based on operational data for Taoyuan County in Taiwan. The test results show the good performance of the models.
