In this paper, a new rich Vehicle Routing Problem that could arise in a real life context is introduced and formalized: the Multi Depot Multi Period Vehicle Routing Problem with a Heterogeneous Fleet. The goal of the problem is to minimize the total delivery cost. A heterogeneous fleet composed of vehicles with different capacity, characteristics (i.e. refrigerated vehicles) and hourly costs is considered. A limit on the maximum route duration is imposed. Unlike what happens in classical multi-depot VRP, not every customer may/will be served by all the vehicles or from all the depots. The planning horizon, as in most real life applications, consists of multiple periods, and the period in which each route is performed is a variable of the problem. The set of periods, within the time horizon, in which the delivery may be carried out is known for each customer. A Mixed Integer Programming (MIP) formulation for MDMPVRPHF is presented in this paper, and an Adaptive Large Neighborhood Search (ALNS) based Matheuristic approach is proposed, in which different destroy operators are defined. Computational results, pertaining to realistic instances, which show the effectiveness of the proposed method, are provided.  相似文献

Particular safety problems relate to traffic on local streets. Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) schemes are often implemented with the objective of counteracting these safety problems. One analytical difficulty in appraising the effectiveness of LATM in dealing with safety problems has been the ‘footloose’ nature of accident locations in a local street network. Seldom are there distinct ‘blackspot’ locations. An area‐wide approach is needed and the interaction between the system and arterial road network must be considered. The paper describes the development of a Safety Evaluation Method for Local Area Traffic Management (termed SELATM). It is a GIS‐based program for analysing accident patterns over time and the evaluation of the safety benefits of LATM schemes. The evaluation is perform at different network levels for various accident variables. The thrust of the program involved the integration of network data with data on accidents and the installed devices to generate summary accident statistics for the various network levels allowing for before and after comparison with a control area. This program as developed is applied to a LATM scheme at Enfield, a suburb in metropolitan Adelaide.  相似文献

以湘黔铁路资水大桥为研究对象,就冲刷对铁路重力式实体桥墩稳定性的影响进行研究。采用弹性半空间地基模型分析基底冲刷淘空面积对桥墩稳定性的影响,并通过Matlab计算程序给出影响曲线表达式。通过曲线拟合出粒径和局部冲刷深度之间的关系。研究结果表明:基底冲刷淘空面积对桥墩稳定性各检算项目都有明确的影响,其中墩顶弹性水平位移和合力偏心矩较敏感,在基底冲刷淘空面积较小时率先达到最大容许值,此时二者对应的冲刷淘空面积占基底总面积百分比的最小值分别为14.3%和17.8%;当其他因素一定时,河床土粒径对局部冲刷深度有明显的影响,这种影响在粒径小于0.12m的范围内变化时最为强烈。分析结果反映出适当增大桥墩周围河床土粒径可以有效提高其冲刷稳定性。  相似文献

Decision planning for an efficient fleet management is crucial for airlines to ensure a profit while maintaining a good level of service. Fleet management involves acquisition and leasing of aircraft to meet travelers' demand. Accordingly, the methods used in modeling travelers' demand are crucial as they could affect the robustness and accuracy of the solutions. Compared with most of the existing studies that consider deterministic demand, this study proposes a new methodology to find optimal solutions for a fleet management decision model by considering stochastic demand. The proposed methodology comes in threefold. First, a five‐step modeling framework, which is incorporated with a stochastic demand index (SDI), is proposed to capture the occurrence of uncertain events that could affect the travelers' demand. Second, a probabilistic dynamic programming model is developed to optimize the fleet management model. Third, a probable phenomenon indicator is defined to capture the targeted level of service that could be achieved satisfactorily by the airlines under uncertainty. An illustrative case study is presented to evaluate the applicability of the proposed methodology.
