社会转型期大学生思想道德教育对策思考

随着网络化、经济全球化的进程,中国社会正处在深刻变革和快速转型期,人们的价值观念、思维方式和行为方式发生剧烈变化,传统的道德规范受到了强烈冲击。正处在人生观、价值观、道德观的形成时期的大学生,面临极大的道德冲突与思想困惑。文章在分析大学生的思想道德现状及其成因的基础上,就社会转型期如何加强大学生思想道德建设进行探讨。

新媒体时代广交院大学生媒介素养调查研究

网络新媒体的出现，对大学生的学习、娱乐、社交带来了深刻的影响，网络泛滥着虚假信息、黑客、网络欺诈等不安全因素，新兴媒体对大学生的媒介素养提出了更高的要求。通过对广东交通职业技术学院400多名学生展开问卷调查，从媒介接触情况、认知能力、媒介利用、媒介伦理等几个方面分析和研究了媒介素养的现状和存在的问题，并提出了提高媒介素养的措施。     

Behavior-consistent information-based network traffic control for evacuation operations

The evacuation operations problem aims to avoid or mitigate the potential loss of life in a region threatened or affected by a disaster. It is shaped to a large extent by the evolution of evacuation traffic resulting from the demand–supply interactions of the associated transportation network. Information-based control is a strategic tool for evacuation traffic operations as it can enable greater access to the affected population and more effective response. However, comparatively few studies have focused on the implementation of information-based control in evacuation operations. This study develops a control module for evacuation operations centered on addressing the demand–supply interactions by using behavior-consistent information strategies. These strategies incorporate the likely responses of evacuees to the information provided in the determination of route guidance information. The control module works as an iterative computational process involving an evacuee route choice model and a control model of information strategies to determine the route guidance information to direct evacuation traffic so as to approach a desired network traffic flow pattern. The problem is formulated as a fuzzy logic based optimization framework to explicitly incorporate practical concerns related to information dissemination characteristics and social equity in evacuation operations. Numerical experiments highlight the importance of accounting for the demand–supply interactions, as the use of behavior-consistent information strategies can lead evacuee route choices to approach the operator-desired proportions corresponding to the desired traffic pattern. The results also indicate that while a behavior-consistent information strategy can be effective, gaps with the desired route proportions can exist due to the discrete nature of the linguistic messages and the real-world difficulty in accurately modeling evacuees’ actual route choice behavior.

Mobility, social exclusion and well-being: Exploring the links

Building on a growing research foundation, transport policy makers have begun to associate the ability to be mobile with having a role in the facilitation of social inclusion. However, the further connection to well-being is not as well understood. This paper explores the association between a person’s travel patterns, their risk of social exclusion and self-assessed well-being. Key influences on social exclusion are discussed, with trip making emerging as a significant influence. Trip making is not a significant direct influence on well-being but does exercise an indirect influence through the impact on risk of social exclusion. The modelling process enables a value for additional trips to be estimated, the value being about four times the values derived from conventional generated traffic approaches. Similar high values are found in separate metropolitan and regional case studies, confirming the significance of the results.

文章从服务理念、服务方式、服务内容、服务体系等方面分析了美国阿拉莫学院的办学特色,并在此基础上对我国的高职教育进行了反思,结合南通航院在国家骨干(示范)院校建设实践,从树立服务理念、深化招生制度改革、健全终身教育体制、推进校企合作等方面就如何借鉴美国社区学院服务社会的经验,提升我国高职院校社会服务能力提出了初步的想法。

The social context of informal commuting: Slugs, strangers and structuration

Despite considerable interest in the role of social interactions and social context on transportation, there have been very few attempts to explore specific cases of social interaction influencing transportation systems. This paper explores the social practice of slugging, an informal system of carpooling in the Washington, DC area. Slugging emerged in response to the establishment of Virginia’s High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes in the early 1970s, as single drivers picked up riders alongside the road (slugs) in order to meet the requirements for driving in the less congested HOV lanes. Drawing on the work of sociologist Anthony Giddens, as well as the sociological insights of Georg Simmel and Stanley Milgram, we suggest that the practice of slugging highlights the processes of institutionalization and structuration. This paper details how the region’s mass transportation policies and urban culture have combined to result in an institutionalized practice with particular norms and logics of behavior. We conclude that looking at specific cases where social context has affected transportation, like slugging, could provide useful insights on the impact of social context on transportation policies and systems.
