A High-performance Low Cost Inverse Integer Transform Architecture for AVS Video Standard

A high-performance, low cost inverse integer transform architecture for advanced video standard (AVS) video coding standard was presented. An 8×8 inverse integer transform is required in AVS video system which is compute-intensive. A hardware transform is inevitable to compute the transform for the real-time ap-plication. Compared with the 4×4 transform for H.264/AVC, the 8×8 integer transform is much more complex and the coefficient in the inverse transform matrix Ts is not inerratic as that in H.264/AVC. Dividing the Ts into matrix S8 and R8, the proposed architecture is implemented with the adders and the specific CSA-trees instead of multipliers, which are area and time consuming. The architecture obtains the data processing rate up to 8 pixels per-cycle at a low cost of area. Synthesized to TSMC 0.18 μm COMS process, the architecture attains the operating frequency of 300 MHz at cost of 34 252 gates with a 2-stage pipeline scheme. A reusable scheme is also introduced for the area optimization, which results in the operating frequency of 143 MHz at cost of only 19 758 gates.

The viability of pure vegetable oil as an alternative fuel for large ships

Heavy fuels are likely to remain the dominant fuel source for two-stroke, low-speed diesel engines for large ship propulsion for the next decade or more. There is however, potential for increased use of pure vegetable oils (PVO) as an alternative and, by emitting lower levels of several pollutants, this can help the attainment of Annex VI of the MARPOL 73/78 convention aimed at large ships using fuels with less than 4.5% sulphur or 1.5% sulphur in SO_X emission control areas The use of alternative fuels can also influence the attainment of the Kyoto protocol that requires greenhouse gas emissions to be reduced by 5% by 2010 compared to 1990. This paper analyses the physical and chemical properties of various pure vegetable oils as an alternative to heavy fuel oil for large ship propulsion.

分形外推在海洋石油工程中的应用

讨论分形模型N=C／r^D（其中分维数DW以是实数，变量，复数）和分形级数建立的外推公式；给出常维分形外推，变维分形外推，复数维分形外推，分形级数外推四种外推方法。为了使外推的效果更好，有时需要将数据点预先加以处理（如平移，求累计和等）；另外，有时要对分维数D进行必要的调整。文中用实例讨论四种分形外推的海洋石油工程应用，如台风路径预测等。     

中央空调系统综合降噪方法实例分析

以某石油平台中央空调系统噪声超标为例,分析了现场噪声测量结果和产生的原因。在此基础上提出了噪声综合治理方案,制定了综合治理措施,以及分析噪声治理的效果和代价,指出噪声控制指标必须结合使用场合来合理确定。     

逐步破坏法破损油船剩余强度研究

基于IACS共同规范研制了逐步破坏法计算完整油船极限强度和破损剩余强度的程序.考虑了船体发生搁浅碰撞后,其剩余有效剖面是非对称的,船体还可能发生不同程度倾斜的实际情况,计算了双壳油船在不同破损情况下破损船体的剩余强度,并给出了实例及结果分析.     

我国船舶油污染损害赔偿机制的初探

随着我国社会的发展,特别是加入WTO后,贸易的频繁,通过海洋(包括入海开放河流)的货物运输量不断增加,在中国水域范围内的突发性严重船舶溢油事故因此也不断发生,给水域环境造成严重污染和国家财产造成重大损失。本文结合工作实际及当前国际公约和国内损害赔偿有关法律法规,分析了我国目前船舶油污染损害赔偿方面存在的问题,提出海事管理机构应在船舶污染损害赔偿中发挥重要作用,提出建立完善的油污损害赔偿机制等相关建议。     

GCHJ—929高效柴油节能剂毒性试验

为评价ＧＣＨＪ－９２９高效柴油节能剂的安全性，对节能剂进行了毒性试验。结果小鼠ＬＤ５０为３５２０ｍｇ／ｋｇ，大鼠ＬＤ５０为３７３８ｍｇ／ｋｇ，无皮肤毒性作用，弱蓄积性。Ａｍｅｓ试验在加Ｓ－９和不加Ｓ－９条件下，ＴＡ９８、ＴＡ１００两菌株均表显出明显剂量反应关系，小鼠微核试验亦呈现阳性反应，精子畸变试验阴性反应。试验结果表明该节能剂具有很强的致突变作用，应进一步改良配方、工艺。
