提出了一个在有高速公路和城市干道的组合路网中设置可变信息标志(CMS)组位置的最优化模型.与文献中现有的模型相比较,本文的模型有效地达到了实际规模道路网络计算复杂性问题和确保求解模型的质量之间很好的平衡. 本模型具有三个不同的特征:(1)认为在路网中设置安装可变信息标志(CMS)系统是一个必须同时考虑现在和未来需要和利益的典型的规划问题;(2)评估由于在路网中设置了可变信息标志(CMS)系统而带来的交通效益是通过具有不同交通分布型态的多个时段来完成的;(3)考虑了在不同的路段上和时段内交通事件的特征本质上是变化的因素.本文还进行了敏感性分析,用以检验在各种不同的交通输入参数中,如交通需求、交通事件特征值、以及驾驶员交通行为的不确定性对可变信息标志系统(CMS)在路网中的最优设置的潜在影响.最后,本模型应用于加拿大多伦多的401高速公路和辅道组成的混合道路系统,并且对CMS系统设置结果进行了检验. 相似文献

ABSTRACTIn this paper, we describe how vehicle systems and the vehicle motion control are affected by automated driving on public roads. We describe the redundancy needed for a road vehicle to meet certain safety goals. The concept of system safety as well as system solutions to fault tolerant actuation of steering and braking and the associated fault tolerant power supply is described. Notably restriction of the operational domain in case of reduced capability of the driving automation system is discussed. Further we consider path tracking, state estimation of vehicle motion control required for automated driving as well as an example of a minimum risk manoeuver and redundant steering by means of differential braking. The steering by differential braking could offer heterogeneous or dissimilar redundancy that complements the redundancy of described fault tolerant steering systems for driving automation equipped vehicles. Second-order estimates to measure platform reliability are generated and used to provide an additional space to select safety
margins appropriate to the owner's perception or for risk-averse managers. The aleatory and epistemic uncertainties in the
parameters of an offshore platform are explicitly considered in the reliability analysis and the platform structural reliability
becomes a random variable, assessing then the beneficial effects of a reduction on these uncertainties. One of these benefits
is for risk-aversive managers who often demand additional room to make conservative decisions regarding reliability estimations.
Proposed here is a procedure to generate the frequency diagram of platform reliability with the use of confidence bounds to
support reliability and cost decisions based on percentiles instead of mean values. The concepts are illustrated through a
typical offshore platform in Mexico. The frequency diagram of the platform reliability index is built for several alternative
designs and three levels of epistemic uncertainty. The results may be applied for decision making on new designs and also
on the assessment and optimal inspection, retrofit, and decommissioning of existing platforms. 相似文献

Most airlines across Asia are struggling to cope with an unprecedented economic crisis which they have very little control over, and the survival of some remains in doubt. The continuing uncertainty generated by the crisis has accelerated the process of change in the aviation industry and has highlighted the need for adaptability, and its effects have been deeper and longer lasting than previously anticipated. After a year-long slump in the Asian travel market, airlines are now considering a range of options and rehabilitation programmes including a series of cost-cutting measures. There appears to be a trend towards the extension and consolidation of strategic alliances, structural and operational reorganization, and the application of new technologies. The success of these measures will become apparent over time, but action is necessary to minimize the adverse consequences of the crisis which has dominated the region since 1997. 相似文献

We evaluate the implications of a range of driving patterns on the tank-to-wheel energy use of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. The driving patterns, which reflect short distance, low speed, and congested city driving to long distance, high speed, and uncongested highway driving, are estimated using an approach that involves linked traffic assignment and vehicle motion models. We find substantial variation in tank-to-wheel energy use of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles across driving patterns. Tank-to-wheel petroleum energy use on a per kilometer basis is lowest for the city and highest for the highway driving, with the opposite holding for a conventional internal combustion engine vehicle. 相似文献

Inadequate ports are a major problem in many less developed countries (LDCS). In an era in which international trade involving developing countries is growing rapidly, decisions must be made to provide the necessary infrastructure and superstructure to facilitate the movement of cargo from ship to shore and vice versa. In LDCS, the phenonmenon of the Combined Naval-Commercial Port (CNCP) has not undergone scrutiny. This paper is concerned with describing the nature of the Latin American CNCP. The hypothesis is that commercial port interests have been adversely affected by coexistence. The results of an unquiry comprise the main body of this research. 相似文献
