Functions Analysis of Automotive Calibration Software

Modern vehicles are equipped with many electronic control systems and the systems are controlled by ECU Therefore, the calibration is a key link during the development of ECU. This Paper introduces the importance of the automobile, firstly analyzes the importance of automotive calibration software in the process of ECU development and the automobile calibration software in common use. At the same time, this paper analyzes the calibration technology in six aspects, including automobile development process, peripheral equipment management technology and communication protocols, etc, pointing out that the calibration software have the powerful data base management capacity and is able to reduce testing expenditure and shorten test period.
