Abstract:Based on practical situation of the reference reading room of Zhejiang Institute of Communications, this paper proposes that service brand of reference reading room should be built up through changing librarians' service conception, improving service quality, upgrading librarians' professional knowledge and techniques, and creating reading environment culture. Reference reading room should play an active role in the institutes' strive for building firs - class institute by actively practicing the scientific development outlook and providing people first and superb service.
